The Samurai learns about Altervia

"Hello, Mimi the samurai. My name is Ina… the Great Water Sage."
The woman suddenly introduced herself as the adventurer that Irene had been praising for the past ten minutes. 'How sudden.' The magic that she sent my way could have killed me, so her claim didn't strike me as a lie.
"Ina, what did you do to the woman that was guiding me?" I posed the immediate question as she stared at me with a warm smile. Her response to my question was to point to the corner of the room where Irene was lying on the ground, unconscious.
"I put her to sleep for a bit. I wouldn't want anyone overhearing such a precious conversation with my favorite adventurer." Ina's eyes glimmered, and she spoke in a boastful tone. 'Favorite adventurer? I don't think I have ever met this woman before. Also, didn't she just try to kill me just now?'
