I couldn't help but rush over to Fervis's side to embrace her in a massive hug. I didn't even know how to properly show my gratitude to her for this amazing gift, but I wanted to show her that I cared.
"Mimi, make sure you wear this going forward…"
Fervis stood on her tippytoes and wrapped her arms around me and hugged me back. As she placed her chin atop my shoulder, she murmured as I felt her body temperature rise.
Her cool voice resonated in my ears as I listened to her words, but just as quickly as I heard her soothing tone, we both were interrupted by Eve, who I had even forgotten was here.
"Wow, I don't get any hugs for making the armor? You two are something else."
Eve followed her sentence with a chuckle as she motioned toward the door.
"Ferv-Ferv and I will leave so you can change into the armor."
