I felt a tug on my heart as I observed her saddened expression. In this moment, half of me wanted to comfort her and the other half wanted to destroy anyone who made her feel this much pain. 'Altervia better be prepared because I'm not going to show them any mercy.'
However, I calmed the rage that was swirling in my heart, and I raised my hand and placed it on the top of Fervis's head as I stroked it back and forth. The trembles that her body had been experiencing disappeared as I quickly felt her body temperature rise.
"Don't worry, Fervis. This won't be like last time."
My usual pink eyes burned with a purple glow as I met Fervis's eyes with a warm but furious expression. With my free hand, I twirled a ball of purple lightning around.
"If anyone dares to lay a finger on you… I'll kill them."
