"Mimi!"
Fervis shouted my name as she jumped onto my lap. I couldn't help but endlessly stare helplessly into her eyes for a few seconds. Fervis, however, took my silence as a slight and suddenly pinched both of my cheeks roughly.
"Why are you silent? Do you understand how long you have been gone?!"
Her sudden words distracted me from the developing pain at the forefront of my face as became fixated on her speech.
'How long? It couldn't have been longer than one night, right?'
I suddenly looked out the window that was nearest to the bed, revealing a beautiful sunny landscape. It looked like about midday, so maybe I was unconscious for about ten hours?
"How long was I out?"
When I suddenly posed the question, Fervis, who had just appeared to be angry with me, broke into a sob as she wrapped her arms around my neck and cried into my chest.
