The events surrounding Minato Namikaze can actually be considered a plot killing.
Since he had already driven Obito away, only the Nine-Tails remained.
Not to mention that putting the Nine-Tails back into Kushina's body would save her from dying.
Even if Kushina died, Minato wouldn't have to die with her.
After all, Minato is the Hokage of Konoha; he has to be responsible not only for his wife and children but also for the villagers of the entire village.
Dying in a romantic sacrifice would be incredibly irresponsible.
And then there's Kakuzu.
In the beginning, he was portrayed as incredibly strong, with his five elemental ninjutsu cannons, daring anyone to come at him. Yet he was defeated by Naruto's "Rasenshuriken" and ended up dying at the hands of Kakashi, who happened to take advantage of the situation.
Now, let's return to the fight between Shikamaru and Hidan.
In fact, the video footage of their battle didn't show the whole fight; it just provided a rough overview.
However, just looking at the stats in the official book, the difference between the two was immense, to the point where it seemed impossible for Hidan to lose. Yet, Hidan ended up losing.
And the loss was completely unexpected.
"Reality isn't like the story. Even if we know all the enemy's intel, we mustn't let our guard down during battle. We must avoid the so-called plot device."
"Yes, Lord Second Hokage."
[As for the online rumors about Hidan donating blood, entering women's restrooms, and rummaging through female ninjas' trash cans to kill them, considering the meticulous nature of handling special corpses during the ninja wars, Hidan would likely get beaten up for drawing blood.]
[Moreover, Hidan only licked fresh blood preserved in syringes, so rummaging through trash cans wouldn't work either.]
[If Hidan could sneak into the Konoha Hospital to draw blood, he might manage to take out a few jōnin who often visit the hospital.]
[In the end, some members of the Akatsuki died due to their stubbornness, others died for their ideals, and a few had tragic deaths. But only Hidan's death left a bit of a bad taste.]
[Clean and hygienic, brothers.]
[Alright, that's all for this episode. This is newcomer Content Creator Hayashi Sora, and I'll see you in the next one.]
"Are the people from Hayashi Sora's world really this creative?"
"I understand the blood donation van part, and I can get why they'd go into the women's restroom, but why dig through the female ninja's trash? Are they looking for hygiene products?"
"Shut up, Jiraiya."
Before young Jiraiya could finish speaking, Tsunade punched him in the stomach.
This made Jiraiya spin in the air and fall to the ground, landing unsteadily and scoring zero points.
"Violent woman, that's enough! Just because I like you doesn't mean you can hit me whenever you want."
Standing up and rubbing his sore spot, young Jiraiya glared at Tsunade with displeasure.
"Ha~ Do I need your affection? You little pervert, you filthy rascal, who cares if you like me?"
"Tsunade, you've gone too far."
"Really? I can be even worse. Do you want to try?"
Saying this, Tsunade clenched her fist to show Jiraiya.
Instantly, Jiraiya's expression changed. He thought Tsunade was about to hit him again, so he quickly dodged and moved to the space between Sarutobi Hiruzen and Senju Tobirama.
"Lord Hokage, aren't you going to intervene?"
Senju Tobirama glanced sternly at Jiraiya and said, "A real man should bear his own burdens."
"."
Jiraiya was speechless and turned his head toward Sarutobi Hiruzen, hoping he would use his authority as a teacher to manage Tsunade.
However, Hiruzen didn't look at Jiraiya at all; instead, he turned his head the other way and started whistling, clearly not wanting to get involved.
"Okay, okay, so that's how you want to play it," Jiraiya said, laughing in anger. Ignoring everything else, he approached Tsunade with a serious expression.
Just when Tsunade thought he was going to attack her, Jiraiya suddenly bent down in defeat and shouted, "Tsunade, I'm sorry!"
"Fine, I forgive you," Tsunade replied.
That was just how she was; she responded better to gentleness than harshness.
When someone was tough with her, she would act even tougher in return.
Jiraiya's actions made it hard for Tsunade to keep being aggressive with him.
Seeing that Tsunade's attitude softened, Jiraiya immediately took advantage of the moment and said lewdly, "Hehe, I knew you wouldn't want to keep hitting me. How about a date tomorrow?"
"Hehe."
Tsunade looked at Jiraiya with a smile that was half amusement and half sarcasm, responding, "Sure."
"??? You agreed?"
Jiraiya's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at Tsunade.
"Yep~"
"Woohoo~ I knew that as long as I was shameless enough, I could win you over someday."
Hearing this, Tsunade clenched her fists, wanting nothing more than to beat him up again.
But she understood that just hitting him wouldn't teach him a lesson anymore.
So, she decided to change her strategy.
You want to go on a date, right?
Then I'll agree to it.
After all, dates usually cost money.
Tsunade had already made up her mind to drain Jiraiya's wallet tomorrow, making him feel the pain so that he would stop bothering her.
Tsunade's thoughts were easy to guess. Among those present, everyone except the excited Jiraiya, who was jumping around, and Tobirama, who was talking to the Third Hokage, could more or less understand Tsunade's current state of mind.
After all, her tightly clenched fists and gritted teeth didn't look like someone who was looking forward to a date tomorrow.
Believing that young people should handle their own matters, they all tacitly decided not to remind Jiraiya.
Meanwhile, Orochimaru looked at Jiraiya, seeming hesitant to speak up. He wanted to give a warning, but under Tsunade's furious gaze, he sighed and dared not say more.
That night, after watching the video on the screen, everyone started to leave the Hokage Building and went home.
Nohara Rin's house was not far from the Hokage Building, just two streets away. It was a two-bedroom apartment.
She lived there because her original house was no longer livable.
After years of development, the old house had long been torn down by the village and replaced with a commercial street.
Nohara Rin was considered a hero of the village, so the Fifth Hokage, Jiraiya, naturally wouldn't mistreat her.
"Kakashi, thank you for bringing me back."
"It's nothing. It's what I should do."
"Would you like to come in for some tea?"
Standing at the door, Rin smiled invitingly at Kakashi.
But Kakashi hesitated and shook his head, declining Rin's invitation.
"No, it's getting late. You should rest early."
After saying this, Kakashi turned and left. It wasn't long before his figure disappeared from Rin's sight.
"Sigh~"
Watching Kakashi's disappearing back, Rin sighed.
Ever since she was revived, she always felt like there was something separating her from Kakashi.
While she felt familiar with him, there was also a sense of strangeness.
