Naruto left the flower shop and headed to the Hokage office. Ino catches up to Naruto.
Naruto: You're coming with me but what about your shop?
Ino: I told my mom by my jutsu.
Naruto: You can do that too.
Ino: Not only you trained for years.
Naruto : Yeah. Let's go then.
Story goes same by the time till Asuma's death. His death was shocking to not only for inoshikacho formation and Kurenai but to everyone. The four of them were depressed, Kurenai gathered herself alone, Shikamaru had his dad, Choji had his family for him, Ino's father was not around for mission purpose and to find about the Akatsuki. Her mother was not enough to console her as she knows how women are weak after witnessing death of someone close to her and she blame herself for being not enough to help Ino.
"Ino? Are you there? Can I come in?" a familiar voice.
She slams the door open and hug him. He holds her for the time being, letting her cry to her heart's content, he patted her head and telling her to hold herself and get together.
Naruto: Hold yourself together Ino. It is not the time to cry it's time to prepare for the revenge to make the Akatsuki regrets for killing sensei.
She stops crying, looking at Naruto she nodded.
He left her giving a kiss on her forehead and courage.
Hidan and Kakazu were killed the revenge was successfully completed. Again story takes a step forward with their relationship getting stronger day by day.
The one of the saddest part of Naruto's life came, death of Jiraya the Gallant, Pervy sage died on the battlefield fighting against the leader of the Akatsuki. Pain, Naruto was depressed as if a part of his body, his soul or as if a part of his happiness was taken away, forever.
Ino was there for him same as how Naruto was there when she was in the same place. He was lying on the lap pillow of Ino. Ino blinked once and Naruto was gone. He was here. Not a second passed and he was gone. Where did he go? How did he? Vanish.
She rushed to the hokage's office and learnt that he was summoned to the Mount Myoboku for training to go against pain by the toad sages.
Hidden Leaf Village was destroyed by pain.
Pain: You strive for your justice and I strive for mine. We're both just ordinary men who have been driven to seek vengeance in the name of justice. And... If one comes to call vengeance justice, such justice will only breed further vengeance and trigger a vicious cycle of hatred.
Ino (jumps in): I won't let you harm Naruto anymore.
She saw Naruto pinned down on the ground. Chakra rods were through Naruto's body. She was in rage. She died. But before death she confessed.
Ino (through mind connecting jutsu): Naruto! I was not able to be of help to you. I can't. It hurts. I'm Sorry but before then. I Love you, I was always in love with you, and I wanted to be by your side.
Naruto was shocked, in pain, in rage, full of hatred.
Naruto: You murderer. You killed pervy sage, you killed my friends, my teacher, you killed Ino, and you killed everyone. I won't let you... You'll pay for this. You'll pay for everything.
The battle got more intense than the original one. he won't let pain hit him. He overpowered pain in every possible way.
Everyone was revived by Nagato.
Nagato: I'm sorry Naruto, My vision of peace was wrong I did the worst thing and the opposite of peace. Please bring peace to the world for me too.
Naruto visits Jiraya's grave first then rushed towards village.
Here Ino is embarrassed instead.
Ino: Oh my god, I said it, I said those things. What will Naruto think, what will be of us? Are we still friends?
Naruto came running to Ino. He hugged her. He..... Cried?
Naruto: I'm glad you.... you're okay..... What will be of me.....? If..... If you were gone.....
Ino: It's okay Naruto. (She patted his head) I will always be with you even when I'm not being able to.
Naruto: Really?
Ino: Yeah! As a ghost,
Naruto: What? Where? (Scared of ghosts) J
The other villagers came and everyone lifted Naruto and did a congratulatory throw. Naruto saw his first goal complete. Being loved by all the villagers, Loved by everyone.
The story goes on with everything same as story. Missions, arcs, side quests.
The fourth great ninja war begins.
Ino: Where is Naruto?
Kakashi: He is on the way with bee to an island for training to tame his tailed beast.
Ino: So why am I not there with him?
Kakashi: It might be dangerous for you.
Ino: I was the one who controlled Naruto's rampage with my mind controlling jutsu.
Kakashi: Ah! About that, that seems okay.
Ino requests over and over to Kakashi until he agrees. They both went off to the location Yamato sensei said. They caught up to them where they were waiting for ship.
Naruto shockingly and happily asks Ino why is she here.
Ino said she is here because she wants to. And that's explains not much.
They began their journey and training together.
The fourth great ninja war goes same to Neji's death. In This series here instead of Hinata, Ino did the important part.
The infinite Tsukuyomi, Ino saw two blonde kids one with a pair of ocean blue eyes and a pair of green eyes sleeping in her lap watching their hokage father on Television. Naruto. She was dreaming of something that can become reality.
The fourth great ninja was over. Everyone was at peace for some years. Infinite Tsukuyomi ends. Ino thought if what she saw could become reality. Ino gets up and rushes towards Naruto.
Ino: Naruto! Are you okay? It's over right?
