Chapter 5 - Next Door Neighbors

Those two sisters were the childhood friends of Kory — or rather, myself.

Now that I'm essentially Kory from head to toe including his memories and the emotions that were attached to each one of them, I needed to stop thinking of myself as someone separate from him

I am him. He is me.

* * *

The sisters were my childhood friends.

Our friendship started when I became their babysitter who would frequently be in their house alone with them for a few hours almost every day.

When I looked at them from the stands, although their figures were small as we were quite a great distance away from each other, I began seeing glimpses of different people.

Well, the same people, but different bodies.

The first thing I started to see was the illustration of these "characters" that were included in the novel.

Back then, it was in drawing form but now they were in front of me, realistic, 3D, and fleshy.

They looked similar to the drawings while at the same time, their beauty was otherworldly because no matter how good a drawing is, it'd never be able to beat a real human's beauty.

After that, I started seeing a different glimpse; glimpses of their past self that were present in memories from five years ago and beyond that.

They were so small back then.

Both of them took some time to get used to his presence but they were willing to make the effort because of the help I gave their mother.

The reason why I accepted their mother's offer to babysit them at such a low cost was for a reason that the three of them didn't know and would never know.

At the age where boys start to get curious about certain things due to hormones, I found myself extremely aroused when I saw their mother being attacked.

A thought befitting someone who eventually became a side villain used as fodder for the heroic main character.

My morals and common sense kicked in a second later and I used my skills to rescue the poor woman.

When I offered to escort her home, a part of me wanted to comfort the poor lady who looked extremely shaken up by everything while a different part of me — the bad part of me, wanted to continue admiring the beauty of the woman whose boobs I had seen with my own eyes when her attacker had ripped her shirt open mere moments before I saved her.

As soon as the conversation about potentially babysitting her two daughters, if they were anything similar to her, their potential to grow was an enticing investment that I was willing to make.

That's right.

The reason why I decided to babysit the two sisters was because by buying stocks early, once the stocks were worth a lot, I'd be extremely wealthy.

It was only because of the incident with a girl that I, Kory, had ignored the two of them in the novel which led to them never interacting in the story.

But even though I'm Kory, I'm also a former reader who is capable of thinking objectively from an outsider's perspective.

My objective thought is that Kory was a fool to ignore these girls because of heartbreak.

Even if he wasn't aware that they were yanderes in love with him as I do with knowledge of the future and the system, how could he forget about their friendship and the purpose of him approaching them to begin with?

How could he forget about the investment?

I could only shake my head at the original Kory for his foolish blunder.

'If you had just interacted with them a few times, you would've discovered how they felt about you. Instead, you pretended as if they didn't exist which led to them joining the main character's harem. Although... were they really a part of his harem?' I wondered.

They were just key factors in a few early arcs at the academy.

That didn't necessarily mean that they had romantic feelings for him especially since the novel was written from the first-person POV of the main character.

Was I jumping the gun by assuming that the sisters were in their harem?

If that was the case then I'd also have to do the same for the other members of the harem.

'I need to stop treating the novel as gospel,' I told myself.

The only thing I could trust was knowledge from Kory's personal future as well as the information that the system/the universe provided me with.

As the ceremony wrapped up, I thought of approaching them but once I saw how many people surrounded them, I muttered, "Maybe next time."

I wasn't in a hurry.

Leaving the arena dome, I spoke to a few people who I recognized as friends based on my memories.

They were heading to check out the location of their classes and greet their teachers.

But since I already knew where my classes were due to my previous "experience" checking them out, I decided to head home.

* * *

Lying on my bed, I was about to take a nap when I suddenly heard—

Knock knock knock.

"Eh? Who's knocking on my door at this time of the day? Is it one of my neighbors?" I wondered.

As I lived in an apartment, I had many neighbors to my sides, below, and above me.

Looking through my spyhole, I saw someone wearing the female version of the academy uniform that I also wore.

They had a baseball cap on their head so I couldn't see the entirety of their face.

'Does one of my friends know my address?'

Not suspecting anything, I opened the door but kept the chain attached to greet the person on the other side of the door.

I should've been more aware of the name of the system in my possession.

If I was, I wouldn't have been as surprised.

"Hello," I greeted the other person.

Not lifting their head, they responded, "Hi. I'm your new neighbor. Me and my sister just moved in next door."

At the mention of their sister, I saw someone standing over to the right with their back against the wall, also wearing a cap on their head.

'When did baseball caps become the new fashion trend?'

"We were just stopping by to introduce ourselves to our new neighbor," she said.

'I don't remember anyone stopping by in my memories. Nor do I remember having new neighbors.'

It must've been the result of the butterfly effect so I didn't suspect anything more than that.

"We look forward to being your neighbor so we brought a gift for you as a sign of goodwill. Could you open the door so that we could bring it in?"

"Oh yeah. Sure."

As soon as I closed the door, took off the chain, and reopened the door, a screen popped up in front of me.

[Quest: Satisfy your childhood friends who haven't seen you in five years. Those years had been long on them and a lot of pent-up emotions they've been holding back need to be released. If they aren't released, it could eventually start to corrupt, putting the universe in danger. Help the universe out, dear host.]

[Conditions: 0/3 orgasms (per yandere)]

[Reward: Hypersensitivity (A-tier skill)]

'Eh? Eh!?'

Taking off her cap and revealing her face, Yena looked up at me with a mischievous smile on her face and said while slightly tilting her head, "Surprise! How do you like the gift Onii-chan? It's us. We are the gift."

"Hey, it's been a while," Arisha who also took off her cap said to me while smiling brightly.

Gulp.

They were beautiful from afar but seeing them up close, their faces looked like it took a sculptor their entire life to chisel each fine detail on them.

Their bodies had grown as to be expected.

Especially their boobs which looked like they wanted to pop out from the uniform.

I'm someone who's into boobs of all shapes and sizes but that didn't mean I didn't fancy big ones like this.

The only time I'd be disinterested in large boobs is if they were unproportionate to the body which wasn't the case for these two sisters.

They both had wonderful curves that highlighted their fitness and beauty but had the mass in all the right places to balance out the jugs they were carrying around.

Although they were twins, they were of different heights.

Yena was now 5'7" while Arisha was 5'4".

Everything about them had grown since I'd last seen them up close including their thighs, hips, and waist.

Then after I shook off my initial thoughts, I suddenly recalled what Yena had said a mere moment ago.

"Did the two of you really move next door to me?" I questioned.

Perhaps it was just a lie to justify them being here as well as to get me to open the door for the surprise under the guise of a gift.

During my admiration for their bodies, a bulge had naturally started to form in my pants.

Even though I wanted to hold it back, it seemed my little brother below had a mind of his own.

I could see that although she was speaking to me, her eyes were gazing at the bulge down there.

I looked at Arish and she was also doing the same.

"Yep! We moved in yesterday," Yena answered, finally looking back up and meeting my eyes.

'Did they also move in next door in the novel?' I wondered.

I wasn't taking the novel as gospel anymore but that didn't mean I wasn't curious.

"How'd you find my address?" I asked an important question.

"We asked Auntie," Arisha was the one to answer.

There was only one person they'd refer to as Auntie who knew where I resided.

"Mom. My own mom ratted me out," I sighed.

Did she have no sense of loyalty? Not that I cared because it helped bring these two girls right in front of me.

With a smile that spoke a million words, Arisha asked, "Could the two of us come inside?"

'Don't worry system. I'll make sure to complete the quest by any means,' I grinned.
