The demon boy walked out with his ominous demon energy slowly reverting into him.
"The mortal world feels just as healthy as ever. How much should I hunt this time I wonder." The man spoke licking his lips like a snake wiggling its tongue out in search of its prey.
A glint flashed in his eyes and a mischievous smile curved upon his lips.
'Step.... Step.... Step.... Step....'
A sound of footsteps echoed from behind him and he turned his head slowly, looking behind him over his shoulder.
"What is this? You're terrifyingly punctual today. Did you really think I would cause a disaster like before?" The man asked in an almost mocking tone.
"Not really. I just thought you would be too bored, hence I came to welcome you myself." The man who walked in spoke in a friendly tone that showed the closeness between them. This man was no stranger at all.
