"Leaving my coven certainly treated you well."

Lydia said, settling a cup of tea before Dallas.

She had received him into the Chapel. When the other head witches had refused to let him into the Chapel and had even threatened to kick him out, Lydia had insisted that they let him in.

And, he was certain she had her purpose.

Everything Lydia does is to her advantage.

He remembered her to be the selfish, heartless witch that she was.

Dallas examined the green tea and curved his brows at her.

"Why would you think I'd be stupid enough to taste anything offered by you?"

Dallas asked coldly.

"Come on now, Brooklyn. You know we are way past that. Let's put the past behind us."

She adjusted in her position, crossing a leg over the other.

Lydia was still so gorgeous.
