Stan's POV...
The Titan's four glyphs
There's one that produces heat, another that generates ice, a third that grows plants, and the last one, light.
It seems basic and crude compared to the reality manipulation of the being in front of me, but I'm not Luz Noceda.
I'm a scientist, and I've studied many books. I know more about the world than Luz, who was content with using the Titan's power in a barbaric way.
My artificial heart started working at full capacity again, and the giant light glyph behind me began to shine with intense brightness.
"What!!!" The Collector covered his face, surprised by the sudden burst of brightness emitted by my glyph, before abruptly losing his ability to fly and crashing toward the sea with the island.
"Seems like you don't appreciate this simple gravitational manipulation." Yes, I reproduced the effects of gravity manipulation with just light.
The Collector wasn't taken down by a rain of light vessels, but by a colossal amount of photon particles that pushed him and the island towards the sea.
"That's not fair, I couldn't see anything!!!" yelled the Collector after starting to throw strange fireworks at me.
I stayed in place, without moving. The attack was stopped by a force field created using light.
I immediately replied with several devastating light beams. Our exchange lasted a while but I quickly started reaching my limits.
"Damn, the shield won't hold much longer." The Collector's attacks, despite their harmless appearance, possessed amazing destructive force.
I took a familiar stance from my past life; it was Vegeta's position in his Final Flash.
A substantial amount of nuclear energy from my heart started gathering in my arms. I immediately activated the fire and ice glyphs.
*Darn*, a strange sound came from my arms.
I was holding in my hand a destructive energy that many scientists would love to study.
But for me, it was just another attack, with the particularity of its difficulty in execution.
What is the Strong Force or strong interaction?
It is one of the major forces that allows the universe to be as we currently know it. This thing literally binds particles together and allows matter to be stable.
Now, imagine if a person could alter this stability?
I increased the temperature at my hands, literally heating the invisible particles in this location.
My goal? To make the particles called Quarks unstable, which are literally the building blocks that make up matter, and weaken the influence of the strong force on them.
I could see my arms slowly melting despite the ice glyph at maximum, I could feel radiation emanating from me at a frightening scale.
The nuclear energy from my second heart was the cherry on top after I added it to the equation.
To put it simply: nuclear energy + matter-binding particles becoming unstable = nuclear fusion or fission.
The only reason why this energy ball that's supposed to be much more powerful than a nuclear bomb didn't explode with me is simple, I'm holding it back using the ice and light glyphs but despite that my hands continue to melt slowly.
*boom* the collector didn't just stand there watching me.
He continued to attack without stopping.
I could read the panic on his face but I was too focused to properly understand his words or he was panicking so much that he wasn't coherent anymore.
It seems his origin as a superior race warned him of the danger this sphere in my hands represented.
*noise* the sphere I'm holding started to crack like the force field holding back the collector.
"Too bad kid, I really wanted to show you the Jade Emperor's attack. *sigh* but this body has reached its limit and please survive so we can have a barbecue after all this"
"Wait, I want to stop..." the collector was swept away by the destructive wave of my final flash.
"Ahhh damn, I'm never doing that again!!!" my arms were blown off and my body thrown.
I probably could have avoided that if I had exploited the strong force on my own shield by trying to reinforce its influence on the light particles themselves.
But I surprisingly lack the mental strength for such a feat.
It seems that manipulating heat and nuclear energy at the subatomic scale in two places at once is too much even for two brains as brilliant as mine.
I wonder how the Jade Emperor's eye works in the manhwa The God of High School.
I remember that bastard had managed to concentrate the four fundamental forces of the universe into a single point on his fist, then hit a dragon with it. The attack was so powerful it devastated the globe's surface.
"Cough... I'll soon have those kinds of forces at my disposal too, I just need to strengthen my physique to handle it"
I currently had the same problem as the Jade Emperor's successor before he became completely the new Jade Emperor. My body can't handle the aftermath of using a fundamental force on a large scale.
I'll have to use them on a small scale for now before finding an alloy strong enough to handle the devastating recoil.
"it's unfair, I had given up and you attacked anyway" a familiar voice resonated not far from my location.
"Haha, sorry, I was really into it at that moment, but next time, I'll be more careful." I smiled at the pouting kid.
I could see that he was healing automatically and his clothes were reconstituting. It seemed the Collector hadn't come out unscathed.
I glanced toward where the island was. There was a huge crater that the sea was desperately trying to fill, and an immense mushroom-shaped cloud was rising in the sky.
"As punishment, I'll never play fighting with you again. You're too mean, you hurt me!"
Seems like I'll have to take a detour before heading back to the castle. I need to calm this little rascal first.
"Sorry, kiddo~" After saying these words, the Collector's face froze for a moment before he turned away to hide his expression.
I approach before grabbing his hand, while giving him a comforting smile
"We're heading home soon, but you deserve a reward for your performance."
The Collector's eyes lit up with joy. I used teleportation to send us back to the Boiling Isles.
....
Narrator's POV.
"We can't simply obey him, he's dangerous!!!" Hunter's voice resonates among the coven heads.
He hadn't participated in the fight, but he had seen Stan's power and the murder of his only family by the collector.
Although reason pushes him to avoid confrontation, he simply can't turn a blind eye to the Emperor's disappearance.
"Seems like you still have much to learn from your predecessor. *Sigh*" The Construction Coven head shakes his head in Deception's direction.
"What?!" Hunter frowns at this remark.
"Hunter, you're... under the influence of emotion, you don't really understand the difference in strength between us and these two beings." Although hesitant, Lilith begins trying to explain to Hunter her feelings during her fight with Stan.
"From beginning to end, he was never really serious or in trouble, and he even managed to make our magic ineffective as the fight went on." Lilith clenches her fist in frustration remembering her powerlessness against Stan but she also felt admiration for him.
'If it's him, then my sister could really heal, right?' This idea started taking root in her mind.
Although Lilith had long been loyal to the emperor's coven, she still feels deep regret for her cruel act towards her sister.
*Boom* A shock wave shook the castle and broke the windows.
The coven heads still able to move hurried to inspect the source of this disturbance.
""By the Titan!, these two are monstrous!" Rain's voice concretely represents people's opinion on site.
After seeing the huge mushroom-shaped smoke on the horizon, Hunter instinctively understood that any idea of rebellion would be stupid.
