I mixed her drink showing no reaction to her confession as she lapsed into a long uncomfortable silence. The bar was lively and the customers were happy. Well three people weren't so happy. Cali Kai, Erica and Fire all seemed anything but that. I fixed up a drink of cherry red wine and splash of magic in it that was special touch Drake had taught me recently.
I was proud of my craft and presented the drink to her. She stared at me though. "You are Marcus Blood! You are the one I must marry. You are the only one that can help me. Marrying me right now today is helping me." She said in an unconvinced voice.
"Marcus!?" Fire's Bane said. "Who the hell is Marcus Blood? The name sounds like a pirate of the Redstone seas." He said.
I looked at him. "You know what. It rightly does friend. But what the hell. Danny Sage sounds like a damned-"
"Low status, kept male with a small dick." Manny said with a goofy grin on his face.
