This conversation was headed into a direction I completely didn't give a damn about. I wanted to end this shit but Erica was shaking her head reading my mind now.
"No. I'm not going to give up on getting as close to you as I can." She said.
I shook my head at her. "You worry about tomorrow so badly. I know what's at the end of the road. It's not bad. You should enjoy today. That is all we have. Tomorrow isn't promised to known of us. All we can do is move forward alone in the end." I said.
Erica's eyes heated at my words. She smiled tightly. "You never say as much to the Night children or others under your care. Why do you save your cruelty for me and my sister?" She asked.
I shrugged. "Would much rather have your anger or violence directed at me then at them." I said honestly.
Erica flinched but she nodded her head. She sighed. "How do you resist not hating me and Fire?" She asked.
