"I'm going to start managing you from now on." Max told me as I turned him after firing my last shot.
I looked around sensing people coming. I saw Dolly, Erica and Fire coming toward me with angry glowing ruby eyes. They had smiles on their faces as I waved them over and turned to Max. "How you are going to start managing me, Max." I said to him.
"Are you fucking with me?" Max asked in a voice telling me he thought just that conclusion about me.
My chest shook with held back laughter as I shook my head. "No. I'm asking a question. How do you plan on managing me?" I said.
"Damn it I'm being serious. You can't go on like this alpha. You need to take a rest every once in while from working." Max said sounding like he was my father or elder advising me on taking more time to cool off.
