It is a Friday, four days later, when Wei Wei logs into "Dream Voyage in Rivers and Lakes" for the second time.
Wei Wei used to prevent distractions by never playing a game during test time.Someone is already diverting her attention.
She hadn't logged on to the internet since the video contract.
Wei Wei has efficiently inked a deal with Feng Teng Games in the last several days. Wei Wei submitted the contract to the Shanghai headquarters of Feng Teng on Wednesday. They said on Thursday that they had already gotten it. They then decided to pay Wei Wei the amount specified in the contract on Friday at 8:00 p.m.
Four in-game pets are the compensation specified in the contract.
Initially, the compensation that Feng Teng said was $6,000 in cash. However, Wei Wei came up the idea of substituting in-game pets for cash as payment after giving it some thought. Naturally, Feng Teng is happy with this proposal; after all, 6,000 would be in actual money, whereas in-game pets are only a few lines of information. After then, there was back and forth for at least N hours regarding the pets' levels and stats on both sides. Eventually, Wei Wei's demands were satisfied, and Feng Teng consented to provide him with two kinds of materials that have incredibly low drop rates (when bosses/monsters are destroyed) and four common spirit pets with market worth of around 20,000.
Naturally, each of these Wei Wei is not the only one who benefits from things; YuGong, MonkeyWine, and the others all partake in them. Despite the Great Master's intention for her to keep all the benefits for herself, Wei Wei believes that spreading happiness to others is much more fulfilling.
The agreed-upon time was 8 p.m. Wei Wei logs in at precisely 7:30. She does, after all, still miss the game a little after being away from it for so many days.
Great Master stated after dinner that he is probably not online since he is busy at night. Wei Wei, however, still looks at his avatar first when she logs on, and sure enough, it is dark.
Although MoZhaHim's avatar is online, neither YuGong nor MonkeyWine are lit. Wei Wei is just about to send him a hello message when he sends dot-dot-dots across for the first time.
Devoid of strength, Wei Wei responds with dots, dots, dots.
MoZhaHim then types two times as many dots.
Unfazed, Wei Wei unleashes a barrage of dots that surpasses his opponent.
Consequently, this is how the mysterious discussion proceeds.
"......."
"......."
"...."
"..."
MoZhaHim eventually and coldly remarks, "Younger female classmate, Wei Wei," just as Wei Wei is wondering why he must be acting so absurdly.
Wei Wei is rather astonished by this method of addressing her since it causes her to instantly experience the fabled "deer in headlights" impression. Without pausing to consider it, she immediately responds, "My lovely senior male classmate..."
"Sh*t!" On the other end, MoZhaHim erupts in rage right away, asking, "Who told you about this name? I stand 180 centimeters tall, have a bull's strength, and have black skin. Lovely, my a**, lovely @¥# %¥...%¥&….
However, who gave you the surname Hao (a homophone for "very"); who even believed that you would be born on Mount Emei (a reference to the Emei Sect, well-known in books on women's martial arts); and who even had your mother believe that you would be a girl, so she prepared the name Hao Mei (Mei as a homophone for "beautiful," aka Very Beautiful) for you? Wei Wei considers this while feeling sorry for him in this regard. It is exceedingly harmful to a man to be given this name.
Following his furious message, MoZhaHim demands aggressively, "Who told you about this nickname?"
The Great Master stated it, of course. Actually, MoZhaHim's name had only been mentioned in passing by Xiao Nai. However, Wei Wei was astounded by the "elegance" of this moniker and asked many more questions, which prompted the Great Master Xiao Nai to add a few more words as well. *sigh*
Wei Wei, how could she have sold out her own Great Master? However, lying is also wrong. Wei Wei then responds, saying, "That day, I met YuGong and MonkeyWine on the basketball court."
Recognize the current state of the art of speaking.
Bei Wei Wei, a classmate, merely reported what had happened without commenting and immediately placed the responsibility on another person. Recognize now what it means for nurture to influence a person's character? Even if our classmate Wei Wei hasn't really seen Xiao Nai in person for so many days, Heilongjiang, or the black dragon river, has already appeared at the bend in the clear spring.
MoZhaHim takes a while to respond. When he does respond, he tells Wei Wei, "I went to PK with the real people just now."
Emotionally, Wei Wei asks, "YuGong and MonkeyWine?"
Don't Hit Him: "You're correct. Rest certain that I didn't betray you.
Overall, Wei Wei still hasn't reached the Great Master's level. Upon witnessing MoZhaHim's sense of justice, she feels a little ashamed and gives him a real consolation: "Senior classmate, you seem like you're still really lucky.
MoZhaHim writes an emoji of a coal.
Wei Wei: "Isn't Mount Emei (E Mei Shan) the source of your name?" Consider this: What if your name hadn't been Hao Mei? You may have been Hao E, or Hao E—(homonym) Extremely Hungry. It seems much more...
"Would you rather be called "very hungry" or "very beautiful" on the streets?" asks MoZhaHim in a composed manner.
LOLs from Wei Wei. Even more subduedly, MoZhaHim continues, "I've thought about this question for a long time. I might have really gone by Hao Shan, which means Good Mountain.
Wei Wei laffs.
While conversing with MoZhaHim, StormGoddessNiNi logs on as well. Wei Wei sends a grinning emoji across, and shortly after, StormGoddessNiNi responds. Her voice is full of enthusiasm. 55555 (whoohoohoohoohoo), you're here, Wei Wei! I assumed you would stop playing the game and become a Guild master, ButterflyDreams.
"No, I'm just occupied with my exams."
"It has been a while since you were on."
"I came in twice; you weren't present."
"That's too bad; is that what it was?"
Following a discussion of the latest events, StormGoddessNiNi inquires once more about ASmileNaiHe's absence from the Couple's Competition. Wei Wei wishes to report that the Great Master ran into a tree, but she avoided being too specific because it didn't seem like the behavior of a Great Master. The rumor that ASmileNaiHe hasn't left "Dream Voyage" is enough to appease NiNi, even in its current form.
NiNi, who is satisfied with the rumors, has another idea: "That's right, Wei Wei, do you currently have any free time?
"What's that?"
Assist me in eliminating the Underworld demon. There is a new boss. I attempted to kill it twice, but failed. You don't think you've passed it yet?
Wei Wei checks the time, and it is almost eight. She still does not know how the game master (GM) will give her the pets. If she is in the midst of a conflict, it doesn't seem very handy.
Is it okay after eight? I have a little bit on my plate.
NiNi StormGoddess nods.
The gaming firm follows a non-communicative process.
Four spirit pets silently entered Wei Wei's account at precisely 8:00 p.m. The bot for the system only showed one message. However, awarding a single individual with several spirit pets simultaneously and revealing this to the people will undoubtedly start swearing.
Wei Wei's eyes sparkle as she takes in the many spirit pet shapes in her inventory. She is ecstatic. Oh, spirit pets, how lovely they are. Everyone in the group will have a spirit pet when she presents these to YuGong and the others. It will be really striking if they are all standing in a row.
Wei Wei looks at her list of pals after a period of daydreaming.
MoZhaHim is still active. "Beautiful senior classmate, come quickly," she texts him. Spirit pets are being sent.
What could possibly have bothered MoZhaHim about Wei Wei's manner of addressing him after hearing those two words, spirit pets? He arrives beside Wei Wei quite fast.
He receives a ball cactus from Wei Wei.
This ball cactus is inferior than Xiao Nai's little kitten and is only of average quality. The game business still needs to take other players' opinions into consideration, even though Wei Wei's request for so many spirit pets at once wouldn't go so far as to upset the balance of the game.
Nonetheless, MoZhaHim is already overjoyed since Wei Wei's spirit pet is a perfect fit for his line of work. MoZhaHim has been drooling over it for a while now, but he hasn't been able to obtain it.
Following the initial elation, MoZhaHim inquires about the origin of the pet, to which Wei Wei responds that the gaming business provided it as part of the agreement for the video. Every primary character in the video has a part to play. She makes no mention of the first 6,000 that the gaming business sent.
Ultimately, MoZhaHim is also an individual who will shortly enter the workforce. He is aware, of course, that a game developer won't be so kind as to provide spirit pets for supporting roles. He was most likely given it by the woman in front of him, a female junior classmate who also happens to be his third sister-in-law.
The third brother presented his hand (feminine usage) with such grace that MoZhaHim was left speechless. Brother Three extended a kind hand. We benefit from his achievements.
Wei Wei didn't object to their elegant use of proverbs since she had long since stopped caring about them MoZhaHim's use of his own achievement as a springboard.
However...
Wei Wei: "Handed him his hand."
MoZhaHim chuckled before stating, "I made a mistake, made a mistake." Yugong uses this as his slogan. I discovered it by chance. He claims he will give his hand to a wealthy wife every day.
Wei Wei couldn't help but utter with profound reverence, "You really can't judge someone by their appearance," as she didn't imagine YuGong would have such lofty goals.
MoZhaHim is quite happy that he unintentionally damaged YuGong's reputation. He was a little arrogant at first, but then he had an idea and said, "Third sister-in-law, there's something that I need to report to you."
"What?"
His tone is so severe that Wei Wei becomes a little uneasy.
MoZhaHim: "Someone called me today the third brother in the dorm and admitted it!"
Oh, what?
MoZhaHim keeps saying, "It's true," out of concern that she wouldn't comprehend. I answered the phone. It was a woman. However, I overheard her third brother reject her.
Wei Wei: "Talk about it."
MoZhaHim already views Wei Wei as family after receiving only a spirit pet as payment from Wei Wei. He is upset that a pursuer would really dare enter the Tiger Mountain while knowing full well that the family of the third brother already has a tiger.
"Relax, third sister-in-law. Here I am. The third brother cannot have an unlawful lover, I promise. What are today's females thinking? She dares to approach, even though she knows he already has one! Everyone will make an effort to seize a plot of land with a landowner, but nobody ploughs the idle fields next to it.
Wei Wei is powerless as she witnesses MoZhaHim become more erratic with each new set of complaints, so she quickly stops him.
Seniors in class, please settle down. Confession is nothing at all.
"I've been confessed to since I was young," says Wei Wei.
Wei Wei wouldn't have said such things, even in jest, before meeting YuGong and them. Wei Wei, however, is quite used to saying phrases like "clinching the point" to individuals she knows because of their subtle impact.
She is compelled to state that Wei Wei's "Lightning Burst" spell secures a resounding victory for Wei Wei over MoZhaHim in the PK match.
MoZhaHim disappears with no trace once again; his persona remains motionless. Wei Wei sighs ceaselessly as she does two laps around him. My lovely senior classmate is very unworthy! Seeing YuGong and the others every day, how is he able to live with so few skills?
MoZhaHim eventually responds after three circles: "Third sister-in-law."
Wei Wei observes MoZhaHim stating, "Just now, the third brother was passing by me," just as she is about to type the deprecating emoji in response to her.
Wei Wei: "...
"Just like you were saying, you've been confessed to since you were young," said MoZhaHim.
Wei Wei remarks, "Nonsense, he doesn't live on campus," feeling as though her own typing power has considerably diminished.
MoZhaHim: "Today, he moved back."
Wei Wei: "Um, yeah."
MoZhaHim: "He's just turned on his computer.
There was still a ping sound after these remarks of his. "Your husband, ASmileNaiHe, is online," asks the system bot.
