Chapter 30 - Simple and honest expert

After Li Zhaoheng spoke, he really picked up a beer bottle and walked over. Wan Chunhua's face turned cold, and he stood up with a whoosh. Fu Junsheng shook his head helplessly, realizing that if these kids were looking for trouble, there was no need for him to say more. Surprisingly, before Wan Chunhua could explode, Zhao Tiezhu, who had been quietly eating and chuckling from time to time, patted Li Zhaoheng on the shoulder and stood up. He walked over to Li Zhaoheng, chuckled, and said, "Kid, let me play with you."

"Wanzhu, really? Are you up for it?" Wan Chunhua was astonished. It wasn't that he looked down on Zhao Tiezhu; it was just that today was Ye Qian's first day at work, and he didn't know much about Zhao Tiezhu. However, Wan Chunhua did. He had been colleagues with Zhao Tiezhu for nearly two years. Although they weren't close friends, Wan Chunhua had a good grasp of Zhao Tiezhu's personality. Despite being a big and rough man from the north, Zhao Tiezhu was extremely easy-going, a complete softie. During his years at Tianya Group, no matter who bullied him, he would just chuckle stupidly, let alone get involved in a fight.

Zhao Tiezhu turned and chuckled, "Let's give it a try, should be no problem."

"Damn!" Wan Chunhua waved his hand helplessly. A fight could lead to serious injuries, and here Zhao Tiezhu was, treating it like an experiment. Wan Chunhua couldn't understand what Zhao Tiezhu was thinking; he seemed like a real fool.

Fu Junsheng's expression remained unchanged, as if he had great confidence in Zhao Tiezhu. Ye Qian just smiled lightly. Although he didn't know much about Zhao Tiezhu, he could tell from the way Zhao Tiezhu moved that he was trained.

As they ignored him and spoke among themselves, Li Zhaoheng couldn't take it. Staring at Zhao Tiezhu, he cursed, "F*ck, I'll cut you down." Then he swung the beer bottle at Zhao Tiezhu's head.

Zhao Tiezhu slightly dodged and countered with a "Shuanglong Chu Hai" (Twin Dragons Emerge from the Sea) move, hitting Li Zhaoheng's chest. There was a cracking sound, and Li Zhaoheng was sent flying back, likely breaking several ribs. Zhao Tiezhu's punch was swift and powerful, a genuine display of Bajiquan.

Except for Ye Qian and Fu Junsheng, who knew of his skills, everyone else was shocked, especially Wan Chunhua. He had never expected Zhao Tiezhu, who always seemed so simple and non-confrontational, to be a master of martial arts. The other three youngsters, seeing Li Zhaoheng knocked down with a single move, trembled with fear. They had picked on the wrong person. They could bully the meek, but against a martial expert like Zhao Tiezhu, they stood no chance. They were fortunate it wasn't Ye Qian who had struck; his blows, even if not lethal, could have crippled them.

Zhao Tiezhu chuckled, "What's this? Can't even take a punch. I thought you had some skill. You guys should really head back and hit the books. If this guy gets really angry, I won't be able to stop him." He looked at Wan Chunhua, clearly referring to him as the "guy" who would be harder on them if provoked. Normally, Wan Chunhua would have retorted, but seeing Zhao Tiezhu's ability and reflecting on his own, he realized they were worlds apart.

Du Kai, just trying to save face earlier, saw that they had given him an out. If he didn't leave now, he would truly be a fool. "I'll remember you guys, the security at Tianya Group, right? We'll see," he said, noticing the logos on their uniforms. He then urged Huang Jin and Zhou Yuan to help Li Zhaoheng up and quickly leave.

Zhao Tiezhu returned to his seat, chuckled at the three men, and then continued to bury himself in his food as if nothing had happened. Watching him eat, you'd think he was a starving refugee.

"Tiezhu, you've really kept us in the dark. Turns out you're a hidden master," Wan Chunhua said.

"Hehe, only you didn't know. Brother Fu and Brother Ye already knew," Zhao Tiezhu replied, glancing at Fu Junsheng and Ye Qian. It was clear he recognized their competence too.

Wan Chunhua, puzzled, looked at Fu Junsheng and then at Ye Qian, wondering how they knew. If it was Fu Junsheng, there might be a reason, given his long acquaintance with Zhao Tiezhu, but Ye Qian had just arrived today—how could he have known? Neither Fu Junsheng nor Ye Qian said anything, just smiled lightly. "Tiezhu, come clean, where did you learn your skills?" Wan Chunhua couldn't contain his curiosity.
