Six months passed in the blink of an eye, and now it was just one month until the new year. In the snow-covered mountains, a young boy could be seen moving fluently through various poses, some like a crouching tiger, some like a leaping tiger, and some like a fleeing tiger. After a while, he stopped and looked at his master expectantly
Chun Yujin looked at his disciples with a strange gaze without laughing or smiling.
"Uuu...Masters?? " Lin haoran asked, puzzled.
"Uhhh...yea ...huh.. so what was it you wanted to show me" Chun Yujin asked uncertainly.
"Master, how was my execution of the twelve poses of Mountain Tiger Fist?" Lin Haoran asked hesitantly.
Chun Yujin seemed to pause momentarily as he swallowed his saliva..
"You..You are the weakest Martial astist.... I have ever seen" he slowly said.
Lin Haoran was stunned. He thought he had done a great job, but as it turns out, in his master's eyes, he was nothing.
"Eh, You should continue training, I am going to sleep don't disturb me with such things anymore" Chun Yujin said as he went back inside.
However as soon as he entered the shed... One could see that he was not calm as he seems, his eyes trembling and cold sweat swept over his body..
What he said was indeed right... That brat Lin haoran was indeed the weakest Martial astist he had ever seen!!
However he was still nonetheless an authentic martial artist!!
Chun Yujin swallowed his saliva.
The martial arts realm was divided into Martial apprentice, Martial Artist, Martial masters and Martial Grandmaster.
The Mountain Tiger Fist had twelve poses. One could be considered a third-rated martial apprentice when they could stay in each pose for an extended period of time. If one could move fluently between the first six poses, they could consider themselves a second-rated martial apprentice. If one could smoothly transition between all twelve poses, they were considered a first-rated martial apprentice. And if one could utilize the twelve poses in a real fight, knowing when and how to use them, they were indeed considered an official martial artist despite whether or not their caught up to it.
Although, what Lin haoran displayed just now was only a self demonstration, Chun Yijun was a seasoned martial artist and he could see it.
The boy had actually imagined himself fighting an enemy head-on, utilizing the poses as if in a real battle. In other words, Lin Haoran could now officially call himself a martial artist.
Of course, Chun Yujin was not going to tell him this. Nevertheless, he could only think, "A six-year-old martial artist! A six-year-old... No, is he even Six yet?"
Typically, martial artists of their time started training when they were ten or nine years old. It was only at that age their bodies could handle the strenuous work of martial arts training. Chun Yujin had decided to let the boy train early because he was incredibly persistent on learning it early. He didn't think Lin Haoran would actually learn it.
"Right 6 months ago he did say, he could execute 3 move fluently..." Chun Yijun recounted.
At that time, althought he thought it was quite impressive, he didn't really think much of it, after all the first three moves were the easiest to execute, and it get significantly harder with each moves.
"No no, this can't be right, he used Five months to learn the first three basic moves, How did he learn the other 9 moves in just 6 months?! ...Is this brat's talent increasing!! is that even possible??"
Chun Yijun was questioning reality, he even felt despair after recounting the fact that he had only started teaching him martial arts this year.
And To actually envision an enemy attacking him..only a well seasoned martial master could do that, that kid is literally a monster!! His comprehension ability his incredible!!
Chun Yujin sighed.
Well, if he can't understand it, then he will just leave it at that.
He then slowly sat down on his down on his bed and took out a scroll from under his bed and spread it open.
"To be born at a time like like this, it must be fate" he smiled.
...
Days began to pass, and time moved quickly waiting for no one.
Rose bloomed and withered, seasons passing,
In a blink of an eye another 5 years had passed!!
In a forest deep among the trees..
At this moment a figure could be seen leaping from tree to tree and branches to branches.
Suddenly the moving figure stopped moving as if it had spotted something.
Then after a few moment later...
WUSSHHHH!!
The figure suddenly jumped down with a speed hard to capture with the human eye. Below, a few meters ahead, a huge wild boar screeched as it fell over.
A thin child stood up from behind the corpse of the wild boar.
It was Lin Haoran.
Five years had passed, and he had grown considerably taller, his facial features becoming more prominent and handsome by the day. He had even forsaken his ragged shirt and now wore and clean and simple white martial robe. As of now, he was now 10 years old!!!
How time had passed.
From the shadows of the tall trees, an old man walked out. It was Lin Haoran's master, Chun Yujin, still appearing the same as before
"oh... You've already caught one!! Good...Then lets go back" the old man ushered.
Lin haoran nodded as he tied a robe to the leg of the wild bore and pulled it along with him.
Thus master and disciple duo headed back together, 10 years had passed yet if was as if nothing had change in their normal day life.
However On the way Lin haoran took one final look at the place boar had just died.
He sighed in relief as if thinking of something, and then turned around again.
At that moment, just a short distance away from the duo, a large bird the size of a dog suddenly fell to the ground, violently hitting the earth, The large bird slowly stood up as if confuse about what had just happen, it then looked around and was shock at what it saw.
All Around were a great number of dead beasts, some large, some small, some missing heads, some pierced in the abdomen, while some had no visible injuries at all.
'Did I just escape a disaster?' the large bird thought to itself
