Next Day
"Sogen does all the work, the old man gives him. At night time he asks the system to open inventory and he takes out 'Grade 1 Earth Shattering Pill'."
"Grade 1 Earth shattering pill-: It is a pill which can increase a Cultivation in Earth Realm by one stage. Taking pill is effective but it also gives an unbearable pain during the process. It can be used once in lifetime then it will have no effects on the cultivator."
"Then he takes out a potion from inventory which is today's daily reward given by system. It is 'Grade 1 Body Meridian Potion'.
It enhances the physique of a person, cleans his meridians, making them strong and makes his body, bones strong."
"Sogen drinks the potion and starts to cultivate. He feels a surge of energy flowing through him but suddenly he starts to feel pain wildly. It was because his bones were reforming and meridians were becoming strong. The pains goes for 30 mins then it starts to decrease. After 2 hours his pain was gone."
'Sogen open his eyes, he examines his meridians and body. He was very happy with his body strength.'
"He then takes out 'Grade 1 Earth Shattering Pill' from system inventory and eats it. After 2 hours of pain he finally open his eyes. His joy can be seen in his eyes as his cultivation increased to 'Earth Realm Mid 2nd Stage'.He thinks that he has taken some pills before, in clan but there were no effects of pills on him and nobody was able to tell where was the problem."
"Sogen asks the system, " System why does your pills show effects on me whereas my clan pills don't." System tells him that before connecting of system to him, he was cursed . Sogen was shocked to hear this and asks system to tell him more. System tells him it was 'The Curse of Beshmuth' , it is an ancient curse which needs blood sacrifice and it can seal cultivation of a person. It dissipates all the Energy or Qi gathered when the person is not observing his body. When system attached to the host it removed the curse."
"Sogen asks the system to give hime more details. To which system replies host's cultivation is not enough to know about curse in details. He thinks for some time but he has no clue so he left thinking about it."
'Then he goes to sleep. He follows the same routine for some days, helping Mr. Rudriger in workshop in his working hours, practice cultivation during his free time.'
After 20 days
"Sogen was training. A beam of sunlight falls on his face, still he trains for 1 more hour. Soon he opens his eyes, his eyes glimmer for a moment and then returns to normal. He says," Finally with the help of system resources, I have reached 'Earth Realm 4th Stage'. Even though 3 and 4 no. are not far but there is a big difference of energy between each and every stage. Suddenly he remembers that he is late for workshop.He rushed to workshop."
"As he arrives he asks Mr. Rudriger's forgiveness for coming late. Mr. Rudriger stares at him for a moment then nod his neck. Sogen goes on the chain near counter and starts to engrave some fancy symbols on sword. Suddenly Mr. Rudriger says,"Boy you have an excellent talent." Sogen replies to him," Yes Sir because I have some basic knowledge about Smithy and metal work." "Boy I am not talking about it", Mr. Rudriger says. Sogen becomes confused.Then Mr. Rudriger says that he was talking about his cultivation talent."
"Sogen was stunned to hear this. He stands from his table he was very confused because for a normal person it is not easy to tell a cultivator's energy until he himself is a cultivator. But he nevers feels an ounce of energy in the old man. His thoughts were interrupted by a sound it was the voice of Mr. Rudriger, he asks Sogen to follow him and began to walk. He goes at the backyard of shop. Old man Rudriger then remove a big wood plank from there and there was a gate there. On outside it was a gate to small room but as soon as Sogen enters the room he was surprised it was like he was on another ground. It was like a training ground. There were some weapons on the left. Mr. Rudriger picks a sword and gives one sword to Sogen. The old man, Mr Rudriger asks Sogen to fight. He was shocked and curious,with all the things happening here but controlling his curiosity he takes the sword to fight. Mr. Rudriger says ," Boy don't use your cultivation because real fight is not win by solely cultivation. You should have some fighting experience. So don't use your cultivation energy and attack me with all you have." Till now Sogen has realised that the old man standing before him is not an ordinary person. He grabs his sword tightly and then attacks Mr. Rudriger. Even though he was attacking fiercely he was not able to pierce through Mr. Rudriger's defense. Mr. Rudriger was not even lifting his sword he was easily dodging the sword strikes."
"Mr. Rudriger says," Boy having knowledge about weapon is other thing and to use it in real combat is other. Your postures are good, but your techniques is not good and your attacks have no path, they are not even properly connecting." Then he lifts his sword and with one strike he disarm Sogen. Sogen was stunned because he wasn't even able to land a strike on Mr. Rudriger. He asks," Sir who are you?" "Boy if is not important who I am. I saw a great potential and talent in you and I don't want it to go in waste. I don't want you to die on battlefield, so I decided to teach you. Do you want to be taught by me? I am not forcing you it's all up to you if you want to learn from me or not."
"At first Sogen was confused but he asks ," Sir, are you accepting me as your disciple? It would be great, to learn from you." He agrees so easily not just because of Mr. Rudriger's swordsmanship but also the training ground. A normal cultivator can not distort space, he must be at 'Heaven Realm' to do that."

But in learning and becoming strong you should meet my expectations." Even though Mr. Rudriger don't show any emotions but there was a deep sadness in him which was visible as he was saying all this, which even Sogen noticed. Sogen nod in affirmative and then says ," I am willing to learn from you, Sir"
