"Bang! Bang!" The gunshots hit me in the chest, and I felt my world shattering.
"I never loved you, Sabrina," Chris sneered, his eyes blazing with anger
. "You were just a minor distraction. I was bored, and I needed someone to pass the time. But now, your sister will do."
I stared at him, my eyes streaming with tears. What had I done to deserve such betrayal from my own husband and sister?
"Chris, please... don't leave me here to die," I begged, my hands clutching my chest as blood seeped through my fingers.
"Shut up!" Chris snapped, his voice cold and heartless.
"Baby, just leave her alone," Olivia chimed in, her voice laced with indifference. "Let's get out of here before someone sees us. We might get in trouble."
They got into their car and drove away, leaving me to die in the darkness of the forest. I struggled to my feet, feeling powerless and helpless.
"Help me... somebody, please help!" I screamed, but my voice was hoarse and barely audible. Cars passed by, but none of them stopped to help me
. I collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
