After finishing up the shopping, I sent Juri home. The gifts I had bought for others were safely stored in my inventory. I planned to hand them out personally later.
With that taken care of, I headed over to continue my training with Might Guy.

As I was heading home, a new system notification caught me off guard.

This mission nearly made me trip over my own feet. I took a deep breath and resolved to go through with it. Nami had been through a lot lately, and maybe this was a way to help her feel better.
With that thought, I made my way over to Nami's apartment. On my way, I decided to pick up some fresh vegetables and fruits since she hadn't been out much recently. Her butterflies had been severely injured during a mission, and she was recovering as well. I knew she needed time, but I hoped this would help.
Now, standing in front of her door, I knocked.
Knock, knock.
Nami-sensei took a moment before opening the door. She was wearing a long coat and a mask, looking surprised to see me.
"Ruki-kun?" she said, tilting her head. "What are you doing here this late?"
"Of course, I'm here for you. Who else lives here?" I joked with a smile.
"Un, come in, please," she invited, looking a little embarrassed.
As soon as I stepped in, I understood why. Her apartment was in complete disarray. Clothes were strewn across the living room, and wrappers from instant ramen, chips, snacks, and other foods littered the floor. The good news was that it didn't smell too bad.
I walked towards the kitchen, which was in a similar state of chaos—walnuts, opened ramen packets, cracked egg shells, garlic bread crumbs, and an almost empty bottle of milk were scattered everywhere.
Seeing my reaction, Nami's face turned as red as a tomato. I couldn't help but sigh. Even in my previous life, as an otaku, I had kept a better room than this.
With a sigh, I formed some hand seals, ending with crossed fingers. Smoke rose up as I summoned three shadow clones.
The clones immediately got to work, cleaning the living room. Clone 1 picked up a trash bag while Clones 2 and 3 tossed wrappers and trash into the air. Clone 2 picked up an empty instant noodles cup and tossed it behind him. Clone 3 did the same with some chocolate wrappers. Clone 1, using the Body Flicker Technique, appeared behind them to catch the trash and stuff it into the bag. This continued for a few minutes, and soon, the room was spotless.

My mouth twitched. "It's like the system is mocking me," I muttered under my breath.
After the living room was clean, the clones moved to the kitchen, picking up empty and dirty bowls and washing them. Once they finished, I dismissed the clones and started cooking dinner for both Nami and myself.
Nami had taken off her cloak and mentioned she was going to take a bath. By the time she was done, the food was ready, and I served it on the table.
She came out, looking refreshed in a simple t-shirt and soft trousers. Without saying anything, I approached her from behind and gently wrapped my arms around her in a comforting embrace.
