Chapter 17 - Method of Reincarnation
[Rewards:]
[+10 Used Points+3 Strength+3 Skill Points+3 Stamina+3 Speed+500 Shop Points]
I grumbled under my breath as I reviewed the system's rewards. While the boost in Shop Points was a welcome addition, the rest of the rewards felt somewhat underwhelming. With a sigh, I navigated to the third tab and clicked on STATUS.

"Hmm, my level has doubled from all the fighting," I noted, reflecting on the sheer scale of the recent battles.
Suddenly, a memory struck me: there had been a notification during the skirmishes. I remembered the system chime.
Ding!!!
[Lower Mid-Level Killing Intent has been Unlocked]
Curious, I asked the system, "System, provide details on Killing Intent."
[Host, Killing Intent is the manifestation of a small part of the will of the killed. It can intimidate your enemies and, if powerful enough, can even cause their death.]
"I see," I muttered to myself. "It's better to have a powerful technique than to be defenseless."
Next, I accessed the SHOP option, and a wide array of items appeared before me:
12x Kunais for 30 points100x Shuriken for 50 pointsRandom A-Rank Jutsu for 300 pointsS-Rank Sword of Kusanagi for 5000 points
My eyes were drawn to two particular items:
Impure World Reincarnation and the Pure World Fruit.
The Impure World Reincarnation : could help anyone reincarnate with just some DNA and suitable body samples. However, it was priced at a staggering 30,000 points.
The Pure World Fruit : allowed an impure body to be reborn with a perfect and pure body, but it came with an even heftier price tag of 50,000 points.
The exorbitant costs made me almost cry in frustration. The notion of reincarnation was tantalizing, but the points required were far beyond my reach.
I then noticed another item that piqued my interest:
Body Constitution Building Pill: This pill strengthens the body constitution. It was priced at 500 points, a more manageable amount. Without hesitation, I purchased it and consumed it immediately.
A warm, soothing sensation surged through my body as the pill took effect. I checked my STATUS again.
[Body Constitution: Fire-Wood Constitution]
The Fire-Wood Constitution not only enhanced Fire Style Jutsu but also improved vitality and life force.
Ding!!!
[Host, gained 20 years of life force]
[Total Life Force: 200 years]
With a renewed sense of strength, I turned my attention to the B-Rank sword I had acquired. I tapped into my inventory, retrieving the long samurai sword with a curved, razor-sharp blade. It gleamed ominously in the dim light of the cave.
Kara, Nami, and Juri were now asleep, nestled closely against me. After the intense battle, we had relocated to a cave further from the previous skirmish to rest and recuperate.
Kara stirred from her sleep, her movement causing her to wake up abruptly. She blinked groggily, and her eyes widened in surprise as she looked up at me. Startled by the sudden movement, she instinctively threw a punch.
I didn't bother to dodge. Instead, I caught her fist with ease and pulled her back into a hug. "Did you forget what happened earlier?" I whispered in her ear.
Kara's initial surprise faded as she buried her head in my embrace. Her breathing gradually slowed, and she nestled closer, finding comfort in the familiarity of my presence. The warmth of her body against mine was a soothing balm to the fatigue and lingering tension from the battle.
As I looked around the cave, I realized how far we had come, and how crucial these moments of rest were. The cave, though humble, had become a sanctuary amidst the chaos of our lives. The tasks ahead were daunting, but for now, I allowed myself to savor this small victory and the solace of our temporary haven.
