Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Who did I Troll?

Before starting this book I recommend checking the tags. If you don't like it and complain in the comments/reviews like a child just because it doesn't fit your definition of your dream Fanfiction. Guess what I don't care.

If you complain as well because mutants exist that is plain dumb. This is Marvel they are an essential part of its lore and have a whole bunch of interesting characters. Removing them limits a story.

Lastly

No there will not be lemons 🍋 I'm not that kind of writer

Yuri is definitely a no

Also those that always care about things needing to be exactly the same in the book as the movies or comics guess what. I don't got photo graphic memory and besides it's not that serious it a fanfic.

Might sound like a little rant kinda is kinda isn't but had to do it.

~~~~~
Michael sat at his desk, basking in the glow of his computer screen. He was an ordinary guy, well mostly ordinary. Sure, he had a job, a social life, and the usual day-to-day worries. But Michael had a unique hobby, he loved to mess with people online. Whether it was in a Call of Duty lobby or trolling Fortnite kids, he enjoyed the satisfaction of hearing the shouting on the other end of the mic.
Recently, Michael had found a new playground for his antics, Reddit. He stumbled upon a thread where fans were fiercely debating whether Marvel characters could easily defeat those from "The Boys." It was an obvious trigger point, and Michael couldn't resist.
With a smirk, he typed out a comment: "You guys have a point when it comes to the comics, but let's be real the MCU is so nerfed that Homelander would have a field day with them. Even Hulk doesn't stand much of a chance, not after how badly they did him in the more recent films.
The reaction was immediate and explosive. Fans flooded the thread with facts and feats, desperately trying to prove Michael wrong. They cited things mentioned by the directors, movie scenes, and character statistics as if their lives depended on it. Michael on the other hand watched the chaos unfold while eating from a bag of carrots.
After a while, the arguments started to blur together, and Michael began to lose interest. With a final taunt, he closed his laptop and called it a night. All whilst being completely unaware that one of the people he had been arguing with wasn't just another Marvel fan. This particular user was a higher being, and like most others, this one was prone to holding grudges.
Heading over to his bed he got comfortable and set his alarm for work in the morning but before he could sleep he suddenly heard the squeaking of a chair from across the room. The sound immediately drew his attention as he sat up and saw a hooded man sitting in his gamer chair.
"What the hell, how did you get in my house"
"Silence, I've heard from you long enough" With a snap of his fingers Michael suddenly felt his voice leave him. No matter how much he tried to make noise it only came out in grunts.
Looking back at the man he knew he was the one responsible but why was he doing this to him? And more importantly, how did he offend such a guy?
"Hehe you silly mortals gain so much courage when you know no one can do anything to you from behind their screen. I think it's time one of you paid for that mindset."
Hearing that comment Michael figured out that this was most likely the result of one of his internet trolls. The moment he realized this he knew he was in for a load of trouble. He doesn't know from which session this guy was from but depending on which things can go from bad to horrible really fast. Especially with his voice gone because that was clear proof the other party didn't want to hear a single word from him.
'If I had known that such terrifying people existed then I would have never done any of that heck I would have been the best guy around!' But it was too late to regret now.
"Don't worry silly one though you are getting punished I won't be too harsh. That would just be unfair so instead I'll give some help but it'll come with a bit of pain. So do your best, hehe toodles" After saying this the unknown man walked up to Michael and slapped him straight on his chest knocking him backward.
Except he could still see his body when he got pushed back… This gave him a really bad feeling that if he didn't make it back to his body in time then things would change forever. However, this realization didn't benefit him at all because he couldn't even move in the first place. His movements were completely out of his control and to make things worse he suddenly felt a suction pull him away.
To where? He didn't know but everything around him felt strange. There was no up or down making it hard to tell if he was falling or floating in place.
After a while in this strange, disorienting space, Michael suddenly felt different. It was as if he might be able to feel his body again. Which shouldn't be possible, because he was clearly knocked out of it, but he decided to take the chance and tried opening his eyes.
Surprisingly this action actually worked, but what he saw was far from expected. For one, his chair and bed were gone. Heck, everything was gone. Instead, he found himself in a hospital? He wasn't sure, but that's what it looked like.
The walls were all white, with the humming sounds of various medical instruments throughout the room. There was also a unique sterile smell that you usually find when you enter a hospital. However, unlike any hospital he's been to, he found himself strapped to the bed unable to move.
This was giving him a bad feeling. 'I don't know if that being was a god or a demon but I do know that I can't expect anything good' As if answering his thoughts another person suddenly arrived as they passed through the door.
The man was elderly with full white hair and a badge that said Smith. "Oh to think you actually managed to wake up!" Saying this he ran over and began checking all the instruments while making an almost fascinated expression.
Michael who had been watching thus far couldn't stand the silence any longer and needed answers. "Hey, who are you and what am I doing here?"
The scientist looked at Michael with surprise and intrigue when he heard his question. "Subject 101 You can speak of your own volition? That shouldn't be possible your mind should be completely wiped to a blank state unless this is some sort of side effect of the serum"
Michael didn't like what he was hearing but the more he paid attention to the scientist's words the more familiar it sounded. Eventually, Michael's mind experienced a sort of mental shock as a rush of images coursed through him.
Most of it was blurred and hard to understand but after a couple of seconds like this Michael began to see the full picture. He was Subject 101 and was one of many children who had been taken for experimentation by Hydra.
They were chosen among many for showing impressive genetics that were adaptable and had great endurance under stressful conditions. In the Scientist's own words, they were the perfect research material for the Super Soldier program.
At first, Hydra started with well over a thousand kids but as the years went by their numbers thinned. They had their minds broken, blood taken, and were eventually left as just husks. The project in the end was deemed a failure but one scientist didn't give up. "Wilfred Nagel"
He was among Hydra's best and had come up with a new and unique serum. He figured if they couldn't replicate the original then they should make something new. However, the material required for this was especially rare and usually failed to synthesize 98% of the time. Causing them to limit production down to only 5 vials and if what this scientist just said is true then that means everyone else died. Leaving him as the only survivor.
"Tch this is no good i'll have you set for reprogramming" Saying this the scientist reached into his coat to grab his communicator but suddenly found that his hand couldn't move further. Looking down the scientist found his hand tightly gripped by Michael but that shouldn't be possible. They had tied him to the bed as a precaution in case the serum made him violent. However, he didn't get the chance to think further as the sound echoed in the room.
Crunch!
"Argh! Let go!" The scientist yelled as he tried to pull his arm but the more he tried the more Michael squeezed until the scientist collapsed sobbing on the floor.
Michael didn't know how to feel about being forced fed all these memories but there was one thing clear to him. Anger!
It may not have actually been him who endured all of those procedures that subject 101 went through but in that moment he was subject 101. He relieved all those memories and experienced it all in a single moment. All the pain from torture, the sadness when another child died, and most of all the loss of hope when the final injection was administered. Now there was only one thing he wanted… and that was to kill them all. Every single agent, scientist, and janitor in this base.
In that moment of anger, Michael's eyes began to unconsciously turn red until a beam blasted out right into the face of the scientist. Feeling the burning sensation he reached up to block it.
"Agh, my eyes burn!" Covering them he waited for the sensation to leave before he felt safe enough to uncover them.
"What in the world" Looking beneath him he saw what looked like the scientist he had previously attacked but at this point, he looked hardly recognizable. His face was charred to a crisp, the only proof he had that this was the same guy was the badge on his coat that said 'Smith'
'Wait that sensation in my eyes and now this guy's face is burned off… Was that heat vision just now? And earlier I ripped out of my binds like they were nothing. What in the world is happening to me?' Michael who was a regular guy previously couldn't even fathom the idea of having powers but here they were, plain as day.
Then that's when it clicked. His last online fight was about Homelander against Marvel characters and now here he is an experimental subject in Hydra with what could only be Homelander's powers. Now he understood what that being meant when he said he'd give him some help.
This help was actually a way of mocking him and making fun. Michael's previous comments practically taunted that being into making his jokes into reality except instead of Homelander going through this it would be him.
"Fine, you think it's funny to put me here with that guy's powers as a joke. Well, guess what this won't go as easy as you thought. This won't even be a punishment because I'm going to make it to the top of this world. That I can guarantee" Having said his piece Michael pushed himself out of bed and ripped through the last of his bindings.
With that done he moved down to the scientist. This was a man he had killed and was the first person he'd ever murdered in both lives but he felt no pity nor remorse. From his memories of both Marvel and those of this life, he knew that Hydra was irredeemable scum. Anyone in this group had long lost their humanity and deserved no pity.
Ignoring the charred face he proceeded to strip the scientists and traded clothes with him. If he was going to get out of here then he'd need a disguise. Now he could also leave laser eyes blazing and all but he just got these powers and barely understood them.
He didn't want his inexperience to be the death of him so this was the best way to go at least for now. In the future when he was stronger and used to his powers he'd be back.
