"You, you dare!"
Xia Xiaoxiao was so shocked she couldn't even speak.
"Stop hitting!"
Bai Qingzhu shouted.
Lin Qing stopped, and Madam Xia fainted as well.
"Mom!"
Xia Xiaoxiao called out distressingly. If before she hadn't been afraid, still shouting defiantly, now seeing this, she didn't dare to act rashly anymore.
Lin Qing had someone prepare a bucket of water, in which something had been added, giving off an unpleasant smell.
Two people scooped some out of the bucket and splashed it over them.
"Ah!"
The most in pain was Madam Xia, because her face was swollen, and some areas already injured, the stuff in the water made her eyes grow smaller and smaller.
The shrill scream startled Xia Xiaoxiao too, sending a shiver through her body.
They looked at her, worriedly asking, "Xiaoxiao, did they do anything to you?"
She didn't dare to move, since shaking her head was useless anyhow.
