In a cave on a remote mountain on the outskirts of the orchid valley which is filled with beasts and treacherous companions that accompany each other almost every day, lay a youth no older than 17 completely sprawled across the floor eyes shut with numbers upon numbers of scars and blood seeping out of his body.

 It seemed as if the dangers of the mountains had paid him a 'visit'. His body kept on twitching without stopping in response to his grave injuries, his eyelids suddenly snapped wide open and a horrific scream was let out from his mouth scaring those residing in a 100-meter radius of his location.

It took quite a while for him to calm down fully, but it seemed as though his earlier screaming had attracted some unwanted attention in the mountains as he could hear the air whooshing like something or someone was rushing in his direction, as a stage 4 mortal body realm cultivator it was an easy matter for him to detect other presences in his vicinity

He quickly realised that he'd have to run as far as possible away from his location, bouncing off the ground he darted away from the cave so fast he left dust all over the cave.

A few minutes later, after he had left the cave five colourful streaks of light blasted their way through the air barging right into the cave and revealing four feminine-looking males that seemed as listless as puppets with no life and a female so beautiful that the cave seemed to be glowing at her arrival. Still, the expression on her face was saying otherwise "Where is it!" she said whilst scowling and releasing a baleful aura that was making the ground tremble

Crack!

The ground on her feet suddenly shattered as cracks filled the area where she was standing on

'I've been in the sect for five years with no extraordinary achievement at all, and after all this time I Gou Mei finally found my chance to soar into the skies and become the ultimate being in existence and now I can't find the fucking soul essence I discovered! What sort of sick joke is this?' she said to herself "Who the fuck took my pro-" Suddenly she sensed a person currently making their way out of the valley

A glint flashed through her eyes as she vanished from the cave with the four puppets right behind her

As Lu Wei was making his way through the valley, he only managed to hear the air slicing before his head was promptly removed from his neck 'the fuck' was the thought on his mind before his head rolled to a stop

 Hovering in the air Gou Mei looked coldly at his corpse for a moment before ordering her puppets to search the body but the only thing they managed to find was some silver notes of around fifty taels, a small dagger and a small box filled with metal strings which were worthless to her

"Tsk…return" Clicking her tongue she called for puppets and then flew away from the valley creating a sonic boom that shattered the ground without looking at the supposedly innocent man she had just killed, but who could blame her when the world was a dog-eat-dog world if one wasn't strong enough, you'd just get killed as only the strong truly deserved to live

But it seems that the corpse was not so much a corpse as the head suddenly widened its eyes with a look of confusion- as if attracted by something the head flew straight back at the body joining itself back together in an easy manner like it wasn't just cut off.
