Chapter 19 - My Naughty Guardian Angel — [pt. 1]

I was assigned to be her guardian and a protector, to give her signs and help her navigate life. I had to perform extraordinarily with that task, even through the veil of secrecy that I was assigned to never lift.

And I did follow that rule and helped her life onto a positive path until that day when I broke the rule and exposed my true identity.

I remember I had been watching her every step, day and night, including the unseen parts in which she pleasured herself.

At first, I simply ignored her or left her alone, but one day something peculiar happened and it began happening often.

I saw her crying right after pleasuring herself.

I did not understand what was happening, but swiftly I understood that the tasks and struggles of her life were pressuring her so much that dopamine, which was supposed to make her feel good, was leading her to break down.

All day she posed as if nothing was wrong and that she could handle any situation without anyone's help, but the night proved the need for someone to lean on.

It broke my heart to see that.

She would moan pleasuring herself, slithering on her mattress as if that was exactly what she needed, but when the end neared, the tears would flow to her cheeks, pushing her deeper into the void.

That is why my identity broke loose before her. In the worst possible way.

I remember the eyes she looked at me with as if I was an intruder who was there to take her life. I struggled that night to explain who I was and how I ended up there.

"So, you're saying you're my guardian angel, and because of me crying, your identity broke loose?" I knew it sounded absurd, but it was true.

"Do you think I'm crazy?" She questioned with a look of disbelief and fear, pointing her quivering finger at herself, along with clutching the blanket close to her chest.

I wanted to explain to her thoroughly, so I tried inclining closer, but it only made her rear back with fear.

"Don't be scared!" I boomed, but it only frightened her even more. "Okay, I'll stay here. Just try to listen and understand?" I stated as I sat on the chair.

"I am just here to help you, and I know how this looks, but I have no ill intention. I'm your guardian angel! Why would I hurt you?" I added, trying my level best to soothe the fear in her, but it took her voice away and turned her into a stiff doll.

From that day, I had to make her understand that I did not know why I ended up exposing myself, and the only assumption I had was because I saw her in pain.

But she never believed me.

However, with my help, this time a bit more magical, we turned her life around and that was not the only thing that turned around.

Our relationship changed as well.

We had gotten closer, yet, we were far from each other. Neither we could not sit in one room together, nor stay away from each other.

It was like a fire was burning in our hearts. We did not want to water it down or stand it within us.

And then one day, we gave in to the thawing fire. It was the day when the truth behind my presence there also came out in front.

She was angry because I had meddled in her family matters, worsening the already bitter matter.

I tried to explain that I just wanted to help her, but she refused to understand, blaming me strangely, that I was always there for her.

"I don't want you here if you can't even stand me in front of you!" She boomed, pinning me to the wall in her bedroom.

She was close to me, way too close! I could practically hear my heart thumping inside my chest. My skin was burning, and my head was getting hazy.

Her eyes were dark and angry, her jaw clenched as her lips were palpitating.

"We can talk from a distance." I protested her strength with a simple trick of pushing her away with an invisible force of my hand.

"I have told you to not use your fucking powers with me!" She shouted, rushed towards me and once again pushed me onto the wall, this time clutching my hands together in her grip.

"Will you only listen when I tie your hands?" She grunted, glaring into my eyes.

"You know I can still push you away!" Intimidated, I protested again, but with words only unintentionally strengthening her will.

"Push me away then." She whispered above my lips, an inch away from mine, and released my hands from her grip, astounding my eyes at her.

Silence had once again corrupted us, but her eyes were steady on me, waiting for me to perform my words.

But when I didn't, she yelled. "Push me away!"

That was it! She had no right to question me when she was following the same route as mine.

God knows what strength took over me that I yelled back at her, "You can't question me when you're doing the same thing!" only for the silence to follow along.

She was now looking away with fluttering eyes, strengthening my will even more.

"Why are you quiet now?" I boomed with the grudge I had been holding and stepped forward, leading her footsteps backward.

"Aren't you doing the same? You ignore my eyes and pretend as if I'm not there. So, how can you blame me for the same thing?"

She did not answer and kept stepping backward towards the edge of the bed. And swiftly, there were no steps left to take.

She stumbled to the edge of the bed and fell onto the mattress.

"What happened now?" My heart was fuming and my mind was ringing. Even more at the silence.

"Why would you not answer me?" I boomed, unable to contain the darkness within me, and mounted her, pinning my hands beside her head onto the mattress.

"Look at me!" I wanted her to see the wound she had given me. I wanted her to see it through my eyes.

Her eyes quickly altered onto me, fuelling up an expression that instantly burst into the form of her strength, pinning me to the mattress.

"What do you want to know? Do you not already know the answer?"
