Alex had been watching it as the Emberclaw ate humans one by one. He didn't feel anything, as there was no mercy for enemies in his dictionary, and the ones on Urmina's side were all enemies for him.
But his main target for today was Urmina. She was the one he really was after.
He was going to kill her no matter what.

But before that, he needed to copy her skill, as he had to make good use of a skill that was never going to be used by anyone after Urmina died.
He believed that Urmina's sponsor was probably a strong god, as she did get a pretty useful skill from her patron god.
But as said before, he won't try to make more enemies than he already has—especially when it comes to the gods—but he won't just let someone who had made themselves his enemy go.
