When she saw the exterior, she had lessened her worries. As a person with OCD she couldn't stand dirty environments. But once she entered, it was as though she stepped into an inter-dimensional portal.
There was a half eaten pizza box on the table with cockroaches having the time of their life on it. A dirty dish was on the couch with flies buzzing around it. The floor was stained with..... mustard? Empty bear bottles and takeout boxes. And an underwear with holes in it was on the TV.
' Clean up this mess now!!' Jenny White says through gritted teeth.
' How dare you order is around?' Leo says defiantly.
*Crack*
The guys turn speechless as they see the metal knob she was holding cracked and fell off.
' I said clean this mess up now.' Jenny White says clenching the broken knob so hard that some metal dust.
' Give us ten minutes.' Jake says with a fawning smile. This woman was too dangerous.
Jenny White scowled and returned to her car.
She looked in her rear mirror and realised that Liam and Xavier hadn't left the car..
' What are you doing here?' Jenny White says.
' Waiting for them to finish cleaning. It might take a while, they need to argue who created which mess, then who could use the broom first before they actually do any cleaning. Be prepared mentally.' Xavier says as he lay comfortably.
' By the way, what's the WiFi password?' Xavier asks.
Jenny White stared at him and he looked away avoiding her gaze. This lady was too scary nothing like his cute fans.
Jenny White sat in contemplation. She had thought that Michael Ford was very dirty but now.... Jenny felt something creeping up her back when she recalled that sitting room.
' Miss White?' Xavier called out carefully.
' What is it?' Jenny asks.
' Could you please tell me the WiFi password?' Xavier says.
Who cares about dignity? The thought of this free WiFi passing through his fingers without grasping a little was intolerable.
' LucasXJenny.' Jenny White says with furrowed brows. High schoolers were always troublesome.
Four years had brought significant changes in her life. She had unlocked more emotions (even though they were mostly negative ones like impatience, anger, sarcasm and disgust and some positive ones like familial affection.), She did successfully enter MinJin Capital University and graduated the top of her class, she also made a few female friends who seemed determined to think that she was a cute innocent child in need of protection while male friends who trembled fearfully when she glanced at them.
At first she was open minded about the fact that she would live like an emotionless human till she died at her early forties but after going places, gaining achievement and getting affection from closed ones, she wanted to live well and enjoy all the emotions in life properly. She fought with the virus attempting to subdue her and she was partially successful but she knew that her already short lifespan was going to get shorter.
She didn't mind that she had less than 10 years to live but she wanted do what she wanted.
Her mother had minor improvements at least she now knew how to ask Lucas questions and nag her about getting married but she still had relapses on raining nights. Her Godfather a famous medical practitioner and business man had helped her with her mother's issue and he was now like a father figure.
So apart from her shortened lifespan and the accommodation issue at hand, Her life was great.
She felt the sting in her chest and opened a compartment by her seat and took out several snack bars.
*Gurgle*Rumble*
Xavier wanted the ground to swallow him. How embarrassing!!!
But Jenny White kept eating as though she heard nothing.
' Miss White, I'm hungry.' Xavier says. Anyway he had probably used up his dignity when he asked for the WiFi password.
Jenny White paused chewing and glanced at Xavier through the rear mirror.
Xavier felt as though the air turned a few degree colder. What was happening? Was it going to snow in Summer?
Even Liam hugged his arms uncomfortably. Xavier used the tablet to cover his face. Such a boring woman, only a blind man would like her she was probably single.
As he was cursing Jenny White in his heart, a phone chime nearly gave him a heart attack.
Jenny looked at her stained hands and at the phone. She couldn't possibly touch it with her hands, her phone was something that touches her face..
' LuJe who's calling?' Jenny asks in Xin afterall the guy who understands Xin isn't here.
Her phone was custom made for her by her. So it had high tech features that couldn't be seen on any other phone. LuJe was her phone's virtual assistant.
' Darling Handsome Lucas is calling.' LuJe replies.
' Answer.' Jenny White says with a wide smile.
Xavier was stunned. Did his face get slapped so soon? Here he was mocking her for being single and unloved. No he needed interpretation. He only heard the name Lucas and saw that bright smile unlike the diplomatic ones he had seen her with.
Xavier mercilessly pinched Liam.
' Wake up! Sleepyhead quickly tell me what they are saying.' Xavier says.
Liam made up his mind to ignore that was until he heard a voice that gave him shivers.
' I missed you so much, I thought about you all day, Beautiful Jenny my life is not just the same without you. My darling Jenny, you forgot about me the moment you left Xinxin Country. If I hadn't called you wouldn't have called me. I'm heartbroken, do you remember that you had hugged me at the airport and promised me that you would call me everyday. I stared at my phone throughout last night awaiting your call. I assumed you might be tired so I waited till now. Not a single phone call.' Lucas complained and Liam got goosebumps.
Think of someone you know with extremely baritone voice acting coyly and saying the paragraph above.
The contrast of the manly baritone voice and female coquetry lines made Liam tingle.
' Common tell me what's saying.' Xavier says pulling Liam's shirt.
' The guy is talking about how much he misses her and how she broke the promise she made when they were embracing at the airport.' Liam says.
Because he was explaining to Xavier, he missed the rest of the conversation and the two of them bid each other goodnight.
Xavier was still thinking about the recent news when he heard Jenny White's voice.
' Get down.'
Xavier turned to look at the woman who was smiling so brightly a moment ago and the poker face now.
Liam grumbled, yawned and got down. This car was better than his bed.
Xavier opened the door and his mouth hung open.
What was going on?
