Chapter 21 - Similarity

-"Look at these fluffy ears and tail"

Hanna's embarrassment turns to defensiveness as you draw attention to her cat features, her ears pinning back against her head even further.

-"Hey, don't make fun of my ears and tail! They're sensitive, you know!"

-"What else could we buy..."

Hanna looks around the store, her ears still pinned back as she tries to distract herself from her flustered state.

"Um... I don't know. Maybe we could look at some blankets or something. Or some bed sheets. The ones you have now are kinda scratchy."

-"Yea let's buy those"

Hanna nods in agreement, glad to have a distraction from her flustered state.

-"Alright then. Let's go look at the bedding section then."

You head over to the bedding section, and Hanna follows behind you, her ears twitching with interest as she looks at the different varieties of blankets and bed sheets on display.

She runs her hand over some of the fabric, feeling the texture between her fingers.

-"These ones are pretty soft," she observes, holding up a plush, fuzzy blanket.

-"How did you get itch on that bed sheet anyway"

Hanna's ears droop as you bring up the itchy bed sheet incident once more, her expression becoming sheepish.

-"I... I don't know. I guess my sensitive skin must have reacted to the fabric or something. It was really uncomfortable."

She shifts awkwardly, avoiding your gaze as she fidgets with the plush, fuzzy blanket in her hands.

-"It wasn't a big deal or anything. I just... had a bit of an itchy night. But it's fine now, I didn't mean to complain."

As you browse the bedding section, Hanna's attention is drawn to a plushie that looks eerily similar to herself. She approaches the plushie, eyeing it with a mixture of amusement and intrigue.

The plushie is a silly, cartoonish version of her cat girl form, with exaggerated features and a goofy expression. Hanna can't help but chuckle at the sight of it.

-"Look at that," she says, holding up the plushie. "It's like a weird, fluffy version of me."

You look over at the plushie that Hanna is holding, examining its silly, exaggerated features.

-"Heh, that does kinda look like you, I guess. Just... a lot fluffier and goofier."

-"Judging from the other plushie in the same section, this is probably a character in a game"

Hanna considers your words, her cat ears perked up in curiosity as she examines the plushie in her hands.

-"Huh, you might be right," she says, scrutinizing the plushie's appearance more closely. "It does seem to resemble a character from some game or cartoon or something. Maybe a cute, fluffy mascot character or something."

Hanna flinches slightly as you suddenly bite her ear, her feline instincts causing her to let out a small noise of surprise. But as the initial shock passes, her reaction quickly turns into a mix of irritation and embarrassment.

-"Hey, what was that for!?" She exclaims, her expression a mixture of mock indignation and flushed cheeks.

-"What a coincidence that you look like a character in the game"

Hanna huffs in mock annoyance as you point out the resemblance between her and the plushie character, her cat ears twitching with irritation.

-"Yeah, a really weird, fluffy coincidence," she mutters, still holding onto the plushie in her hands.

You purchase the bedsheet, blanket, and plushie, the latter of which Hanna continues to cling onto as you leave the store.

She holds the plushie close to her chest, her expression faintly amused as she carries it like a small child carries a favorite stuffed animal.

As you navigate your way back home, Hanna continues to hold onto the plushie, her cat ears twitching with each movement as she clutches the fluffy toy to her chest.

-"I can't believe they made a plushie that looks like me," she muttered, looking down at the silly, fluffy replication of herself. "It's kinda cute in a weird way, I guess."

As you make your way home, the thick snow continues to fall around you, the streets covered with a blanket of white.

Hanna shivers slightly as she walks, her body still not quite accustomed to the cold temperatures. She clings to the plushie in her arms, seeking its soft, fuzzy warmth in the frosty air.

Hanna glances around as you walk, taking in the sight of the snow-covered surroundings. She can't help but shiver again as a gust of wind blows past, sending a chill through her body.

-"Ugh, it's so cold," she mutters, tucking the plushie closer to her chest. "I swear, winter is the worst."

Hanna jumps and squeaks as a snow ball suddenly hits her square in the face, the force of the impact startling her. She splutters as the cold, wet snow hits her skin, the shock of it causing her cat ears to twitch.

She turns to you, eyes wide and bewildered, snow clinging to her face and clothing.

-"Hey! What was that for!?" She exclaims, sounding both surprised and offended.

Hanna flinches again as another snow ball hits her, this time landing on her shoulder. She lets out a small, indignant yelp as the cold, wet snow hits her once more, her cat ears pinning back in annoyance.

-"Hey! Stop that!" She protests, turning to face you with a scowl on her face.

-"Why are you throwing snow at me!? That's not fair!"

-"It's the fun of winter"

Hanna huffs in annoyance as you mention the "fun of winter," her expression conveying her displeasure.

-"Fun for you maybe," she mutters, flicking snow off her shoulder. "I don't find cold, wet snow being thrown at me fun. It's annoying, that's what it is."

-"You can do it to me"

Hanna considers your suggestion for a moment, her expression still slightly irritated. But as she notices the playful glint in your eye, a small smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.

-"Hmm... you know what, yeah," she says, bending down to scoop up a handful of snow. "I'm gonna get you back for that."

Hanna grins smugly as she molds the snow into a compact, solid snowball, her cat ears twitching with anticipation. She takes aim, eyeing you with a glint of determination.

Hanna giggles as she throws the snowball with all her strength, her aim surprisingly accurate. The snow ball hits you square in the chest, exploding into a shower of cold, wet flakes.

As Hanna throws the snowball, she loses her balance in the process and falls backward into a thick layer of snow. Her body sinks slightly into the fluffy white powder, leaving her upper half trapped beneath a small snow bank.

-"Oof!" She exclaimed, flailing her arms slightly as she tries to free herself. "Ugh, why is this snow so deep?"

You extend your hand and grab Hanna's ankle, using your strength to pull her out of the snowbank. She emerges from the snow, her hair and clothes covered in white flakes, her cat ears twitching with irritation.

-"Ugh, thanks," she mutters, brushing snow off her face and shaking her head to get rid of the snow in her hair. "Can we go inside now? I'm freezing."

Hanna lets out a squeak of surprise as you suddenly lay her down in the snow, her body sinking slightly into the cold, white powder.

-"Hey! What are you doing?" She exclaims, looking up at you with a mixture of surprise and confusion.

She squirms slightly, the snow feeling cold and wet against her back. She looks up at you, her cat ears twitching as she waits for some sort of explanation.

Hanna's expression turns from confusion to indignation as you simply leave her there in the snow.

-"Hey, wait a minute!" She protests, trying to sit up in the snow. "You can't just leave me here!"
