Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Second-Class Apprentice

If you want to become a second-class wizard apprentice, you must meditate on an additional twelve mental runes and then construct a rune array in your mind.

This looks similar to a first-class wizard apprentice, but in fact, there is a huge difference between the two. A second-class wizard apprentice is much more difficult than a first-class wizard apprentice.

"I have been working on pharmacy for some time, but I have also been working on meditation on the spiritual power runes."

In the dormitory, Morin thought about something carefully and said, "I have already meditated out nine mental runes, and I still need three more."

"Chip, call up my current state!"

Morin snapped his fingers and immediately gave the chip this command.

"Ding! Analyzing the subject's status!"

"Maureen Olsen, upper knight, strength: 8.3, speed: 8.4, physique: 8.3, mental strength: unknown!"

"I didn't expect that my physical fitness has reached such a state." Morin couldn't help but mutter to himself.

In the trading area, he had already collected the eyes of the fanged black wolves, and combined them with easily obtained materials such as crystal grapes to improve his physical fitness.

"However, my physical fitness has reached a terrifying level of over 8. If I want to improve it, it will probably be very difficult."

Maureen spoke softly, feeling quite helpless.

This can be considered as a small trouble brought about by the improvement of his physical fitness.

"Chip, if I follow my normal progress, how long will it take to meditate out the next three mental runes and condense them into a rune array?"

Maureen thought for a moment and asked.

"Ding! Time is being calculated!"

"The main body will take five months!"

"Five months?" Morin frowned. This time was really too long and somewhat beyond his expectations.

"Is there any way to shorten the time?"

Mo Lin thought for a moment and asked in a deep voice.

"Ding! If the main body purchases Moxite, the time can be greatly shortened!"

"Mox Molten Stone?" Morin quickly figured out what this so-called Mox Molten Stone was. It was a strange stone that could increase the concentration of surrounding energy particles, and could form a simple amplification with the wizard apprentice's meditation, but the effect was limited.

But even so, Moxite is very popular among wizard apprentices and is very expensive.

Mo Lin touched his chin, and then, having made up his mind, he said, "Although Moxite is very expensive, forget it, I'll still go buy it. After all, I can't wait that long."

"By the way, chip, can it clearly display the mental power and digitize it?" Morin turned his eyes and saw the column of mental power, and frowned involuntarily.

"Ding! Task is being generated!"

"Estimated time: 69 days, 23 hours, 46 minutes and 58 seconds!"

"More than two months?" Mo Lin nodded gently and said, "Okay, this time is acceptable."

He gently pulled the black robe on his body, sat cross-legged on the boat, and began to meditate on the mental runes with his eyes closed.

Gray light particles appeared little by little, flickering on his forehead, then slowly sank into the water and slowly disappeared.

Trading area.

Maureen walked into Gandalf's shop.

"Ah, Morin, you're here again." Gandalf looked dejected and said, "Damn it, my magic stones are going to be much less again."

"Gandalf, this time I'm here to give you the magic stone." Morin said unhappily.

He knocked on the counter and said, "You should have some Moxite here, bring it to me."

"Moxite?"

Gandalf suddenly regained his mental strength, jumped high, rushed into the shop, rummaged through the drawers and cabinets, then took out three black iron boxes and placed them on the counter.

Maureen opened the box calmly and began to observe silently.

Mox karst is white all over, but occasionally there are some gray impurities on it. It smells very strange and a bit smelly, almost like bird droppings.

"Is that all?" Morin looked at Gandalf.

"That's all I need. These are three standard portions, which is my shop's monthly supply. You know, although Mox's molten stone is very effective, its price is..."

Gandalf kept talking.

"I want them all." Morin handed over a black silk bag and said, "This is the magic stone."

Gandalf's voice suddenly stopped.

He took the black silk bag and began to count. While counting, he kept muttering, "Pharmacist, pharmacist must be rich, he can refine elementary potions, and even buy Moxite easily..."

Morin didn't know what to say. He took the remaining magic stones and Moxite and slowly walked towards the dormitory.

He placed the Moxite in a glass container and then slowly poured in a transparent blending liquid.

As soon as it touched, the liquid began to boil, and the Moxite was shaking constantly, as if something inside was about to burst out.

A strange smell emanated.

Morin didn't dare to delay and sat cross-legged in meditation again.

After a while, Morin opened his eyes and nodded. Yes, his meditation speed had indeed increased. The Mox Stone was really effective.

"But this is completely consuming magic stones." Morin couldn't help but sigh as he looked at the Mox Molten Stone that was half gone.

Although this is very effective, Mox Molten Stone is consumed too quickly and is very expensive, with each piece costing around thirteen magic stones.

"Luckily I became a pharmacist."

Mo Lin touched the black silk bag and couldn't help thinking, but he felt a pain in his flesh as the bag was half empty.

Dining room.

"Maureen, long time no see." Anthony laughed and seemed to be in a good mood.

Not only Maureen was there, but Richard and Lucy were also there, but Aaron was not there. I wonder if Anthony ignored Aaron on his own.

This time, it was Anthony who invited them to have dinner. Maureen thought about it and did not refuse.

"Anthony, it seems that you are in a good mood." Maureen smiled faintly.

"Yes, Morin, I went out on missions recently and earned a lot of magic stones."

Anthony did not deny it, with a look of slight pride and confidence.

"You are so awesome, Anthony." Richard looked at Anthony with an indescribable envy in his words.

"Yeah, I really admire you."

Alice said this, looking at Anthony with an indescribable emotion in her eyes.

"Not bad." Anthony smiled.

He liked this feeling very much. By going out on missions and earning the authority brought by magic stones, he connected their group of wizard seeds again. Now, many of the former wizard seeds admired and even feared him.

"I didn't just carry out the mission. I also got to know people from the wizard family."

Anthony thought about it and continued.

This was undoubtedly a bombshell. Richard and the others' eyes towards Anthony changed again, which made Anthony very satisfied.

Next, Anthony talked about many of his experiences while on missions outside, which made Richard, Lucy and others marvel. Maureen listened from the side, or simply asked a question or two, collecting and screening out useful information, and silently wrote it down.

"Let's work hard together. Once everyone becomes a second-class wizard apprentice, we can go out on missions together!"

Finally, Anthony said with great pride.

"Maureen, how about you join us after you become a second-class wizard apprentice?" Anthony said, looking at Maureen.

"It depends on the situation. If possible, I won't refuse."

Maureen thought about it and said this.

But in his heart, he became more determined to become a second-class wizard apprentice.

Soon, the invitation ended.

"I have put too much effort into alchemy, and my progress is a little slower than theirs. It seems that I have to become a second-class wizard apprentice as soon as possible." Morin thought silently on his way back to the dormitory.

He returned to the dormitory, used the Mox Dissolving Stone, and then sat cross-legged on the bed with his eyes closed.

Bits of gray light kept condensing and outlining on his forehead, and finally, it formed the last mental rune.

The mental power rune glowed, and finally, other mental power runes appeared, glowing faintly, and then condensed to form a rune array.

The talisman array seemed to be branded on Morin's forehead, glowing faintly and looking extremely mysterious.

Finally, the faint light of the talisman array dimmed.

Maureen slowly opened his eyes.

"Second-class apprentice." Morin let out a breath lightly, his tone indescribably relaxed.

In recent times, he has been using Mox Stone in conjunction with meditation on mental runes. Without any distractions, he has broken through to become a second-class wizard apprentice, which is a natural result.

"Chip, how many days did I use it for?" Morin thought for a moment and asked.

"Ding! The subject is promoted to a second-class wizard apprentice!"

"The main body took 59 days and 18 hours!"

The cold, mechanical sound of the chip rang in my mind.

"Two months? That's almost the same." Morin murmured to himself. At the same time, he also knew that he was able to arrive nearly three months earlier entirely because of the Moxite.

After thinking for a while, Morin slowly stretched out his hand.

As the thought moved his mind, countless dark energy particles from all around rushed over and wrapped around his hand, making the whole hand look like it was covered with a layer of black film, or like it was wearing a thick black glove.

"A second-class apprentice can use the power of a wizard. From then on, he has truly stepped into the threshold of becoming a wizard."

"Finally, I've reached this point."

Morin seemed to have thought of something, and there was a hint of sigh in his voice. Then, he laughed softly.
