Rose saw the seriousness on the Mage's face and understood the severity of the matter.
She slowly raised her hand to Felonious' opened palm.
Rose reeled back on the stool as Felonious suddenly raised his hand to her face.
"W-what d-do y-you want t-to d-do?" Rose stammered, the hairs on her back standing in fear.
Was he planning to slice her open from her face?
"Be still; we have to stop the bleeding," Felonious said and firmly placed his hand on Rose's shoulder, steadying her.
Rose only calmed down when she heard he was going to heal her bleeding nose, she sat erect on the stool and raised her face to him.
She noticed that the runes on Felonious' face seemed to glow from the moment they entered his lair; he looked so attuned to everything in the room.
Felonious raised his hand to Rose's face and placed his thumb on her forehead, a soft white light emanated from his finger and slowly absorbed into Rose's skin.
