Rose had never seen a house painted black, but as the car slowed down, she now looked upon the one-story house that looked like those houses that were perfect for iconic horror movies.
She didn't need to be told to realize that this was the Night House.
"We've arrived, Ms. Rose; you can walk through the gates; a woman will take you from there and lead you to your...client," Gregory said to Rose.
Rose cleared her throat; she looked out of the window and realized that there was no single light radiating from the house; how was she supposed to find her way in there?
She turned and looked at Gregory who looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.
"Can I ask you something?" Rose questioned.
"You may, Ms. Rose, but may I remind you that you're being waited upon, your late arrival might mead to some unfavorable consequences," He reminded.
Rose nodded. She knew that already, but she still went ahead anyway.
