Chapter 9 - Part 13

Long ago the devil gathered an army of demons, and headed towards purgatory. The devil declared war against the imp type demons.

Hovering over large buildings in gate city Sylo, and Maestro was planning their next move. Maestro asked Sylo how he was going to be able to walk around with his appearance. Sylo responded that he wasn't going to. That he will just tell Maestro where to go from this point on. Maestro was surprised by the response, then asked why he wasn't tagging along. Sylo chuckled then stated that he wouldn't survive in hell due to the air being too thick, and fiery. Maestro looked down staring at the many city buildings. He states that he might get lost without his guidance. Sylo told him not to worry, and that he'll be fine.

Looking through the cloud, Sylo points to an arch building. He tells Maestro that's where he needs to go to get there. Maestro asked if he had to do this for other demons. Sylo responded that he had more direct approaches with other demons. That this however was a first for him. He lowers the cloud in an alley way between two buildings. He drops Maestro off, and partially form out of the cloud to tell him good luck. They smile, and wave at each other before Sylo fully formed back into the cloud. He flys off disappearing behind the actual clouds in the sky.

Maestro takes a deep breath realizing that he's all alone now. He thinks about his father stating that he misses him already, but he probably wouldn't think the same. He steps off, and starts walking towards the arch building. After crossing streets, and going through more alley ways Maestro finally made it to the building. He looks up noticing how large it is stating that it didn't appear that tall from the sky. As he goes inside, he sees a room sized museum, and a lady behind a secretary desk.

There was a crowd of people at the far side of the room looking at the monuments. He also noticed a small line of people waiting to go up the elevator. Maestro was confused, and felt a little bit overwhelmed because he had no idea where he was going. The secretary lady then called Maestro over to the desk. She stated that he seemed to be lost, and asked if he was looking for his family. Maestro paused for a second before replying that he didn't have a family to look for. He then stated that he is lost though. The secretary was now confused, and asked what he meant by that. Maestro was hesitant, not wanting to tell her too much. He asked her if he could go down as he points to the ground. She apologizes stating that the elevator doesn't go down from here. She states that he can look around the mini museum, but he would need to purchase a ticket to get on the elevator. Maestro didn't really understand what she was talking about, and also figured she didn't know what he was referring to either. However he didn't have any money so he started looking around the mini museum. As he walked off the lady pressed a button underneath her desk.

Maestro was looking around for a second admiring the art relics. He then stopped at a picture display of the arch when it was half way built. He looked at it as he wondered where he had to go next. Stating that Sylo should've gave him more specific instructions. Suddenly a man wearing a green, and black business suit approached Maestro. He stated that apparently it took ten years to build the arch. As Maestro turned around to look at him, the man pushed him into the wall. Instead of hitting it Maestro had warped straight through it. He got up confused on what just happened. He then looks around speechless at what he was seeing. It was another mini museum except this one had a darker tone to it. Also holding demonic relics, and monuments. Maestro was still lost for words having no idea what was going on.

The man walked through the wall surprised that Maestro actually went through. Maestro asked the man who he was, and where did he take him. He responded that this is a part of the arch that only demons can reach. Maestro then stated that he doesn't look like a demon. The man replied that he doesn't either. He then snaps his fingers, and his skin starts to crack. It peels off revealing green, and black skin. Black horns formed along with his claws, green eyes, and a tail. Maestro was shocked seeing this transformation, and that an actual demon was standing in front of him. The demon then introduced himself as Sylvester the trickster.
