She did not belong to that kind of life. It made me question the kind of life we are supposed to live and I wanted to elaborate about why my mother did not fit in. But he was already talking about another thing.
"Your father loves you. But bitterness has run deep into his mind. I hope he sees what I see one day." I hope he gets the fuck out of my life. But of course, I didn't say that, I just nodded for him to continue.
