Ivan's words did nothing to calm Tommen down, instead it made him even more tense. 'What did he mean by just stay alert? And there were those markings earlier, there's definitely something he's not telling us.' Tommen was nearly freaking out and he even thought of directly confronting Ivan and asking him what was going on to calm his nerves, but he decided against it, keeping his thoughts and fears to himself.
Ivan meanwhile, though he looked calm on the outside, was fidgeting on the inside. He had a good idea what those markings he saw earlier were, but he was doubtful.
