"Directly through the Sodad mountain range," Ivan echoed, his voice level.

Roan's eyebrows shot up in surprise, a hint of disbelief in his voice. "Directly through the Sodad mountain range? And how is that any less dangerous than the route I had in mind?" He questioned incredulously.

The Sodad mountain range was a towering natural wonder that lay to the north of Tasvill, its peaks and valleys stretching from the northwest to the northeastern borders of the nation. The highest peak, Mount Sodad, soared to a staggering height of 5,798 meters (19,022 feet) above sea level. The range was not just a geographical feature; it was a fortress-like natural barrier that had protected Tasvill for centuries.
