Sean, a teenage boy living a normal but happy life as an only child of a very loving Mom and a strict but also loving dad. The day before the apocalypse, his dad was picked up by a squad from their headquarters indicating that there's a serious crisis happening.

On the first day, Sean's mother was one of the victim of an unkown disease making people insane. The hospital was full of patients with same conditions, all seems to be fighting their own self at the point where they causes harm to their selves and towards the others. Not knowing what to do and feeling the pain of watching his Mom in a very dangerous condition of self harm, he called his dad telling him that sean and her mom needs him.

The second day of the apocalypse, it all went downhill when Sean, sleeping besides her mom's hospital bed was woken up by his mom who's yelling at him to run. Sean was confused but saw the changes in her mom's face, face starting to peel off and hair falling off, eyes turning red and continously screaming as if her body is being tortured. The same scream of pain can be heard in every corner of the hospital.

In attempt to calm his mom down, Sean approach her but was thrown to the wall sustaining grave injuries. His mom now turned into a grotesque monster was growling and approaching him, suddenly his mom's blood splatted all over him and into the walls, her monstrous body fall down to the ground and behind her was Sean's father holding a shotgun, the shotgun that killed his transformed mother.
