We chilled on the balcony after our little escapade in their storage room. We didn't go all the way like she wanted me to. I was feeling kinda weird about it. I sorta still wanted her to stay pure. I made some lame excuse about being tired so I couldn't go through with it. Mags seemed pretty pissed at me for that.
"Sorry, I just can't. It's about respect, you know..." But then we started talking on the balcony about the real reason I couldn't go all the way.
"Save that for someone who truly loves you. We just met, Mags. You don't really know me that well yet. I have a secret, and if you knew it, you'd probably see me differently," I confessed.
"Can I know?" Mags asked, her attitude shifting back to normal after being all grumpy earlier. She was playing with Pipoy, and it seemed to bring her back to her usual self. It was still raining, and I could feel the light mist of the rain on my face as I stood there.
"Don't worry, I'm not judgmental..." Magnolia reassured me, but I still kept quiet, trying to steer the conversation elsewhere.
"Have you ever had a boyfriend?"
"I already told you, right? No, never..." she cut that topic off real quick.
"And you already told us about being almost a thing with Liza, right?"
"Y-Yeah."
"See? Nothing much to discuss there. So, what's this secret of yours?" I didn't answer again. If Pipoy wasn't there, it would've been super awkward. I really didn't want to spill the beans about that.
