Chapter 11
"Do you know how much I hate these parties? Having to put on these awful dresses and keep a good face for random strangers. I never get used to it," Caroline said to Gina as she tightened the corset dress around her waist and bosom.
"I always think you look beautiful. But tell me, how did he react when he saw you both?" Gina asked, too excited for Caroline's preference. She didn't think Marcus cared about her nor what she did and she didn't hang out with Jason to spite him. She genuinely cared for him but maybe not in the way that she did for her husband.
"I don't want to talk about it Gina," she said and shook her head, a little of her concern showing. Gina didn't want to press her so she continued to style the dress tighter on her. "This is a bit too tight, you do remember that i she's another being inside of me, right?" She joked and Gina laughed.
