Carson didn't know how long he sat there crying but he did, he held kaliya's limp body in his arms as the rain poured heavily on him. He didn't mean to shoot her, he didn't want to.
"Boss, I think we should go back. The rain doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon" One of the men brought by Carson said as he touched his shoulder. Carson shrugged off his hand as he looked up at the man.
"If we leave is she going to survive, why didn't you stop me?" Carson asked the man angrily who rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment as he looked at Kaliya who had a contented smile on her face. It somehow looked as though, she was happy to die.
"Boss, even if I did stop you, knowing who you are, you'd just kill me along with her. May the soul of miss Kaliya rest in peace" the man said as he patted Carson's back.
