"Little crazy brainless girl, if I catch you...Just wait and see!" a very angry Ben Madoff reacted while hd his hands on his belly to soothe his pain.
Joanna was now fearing he would retaliate in the worst way possible. So she began to move backwards to put herself at a good distance from him.
Then she provoked him again.
"Why have you told my mom all these lies in the first place? If you hadn't told her rubbish, she wouldn't have made a fuss, would she? Oh no!' she said to him before continuing: 'If you hadn't twisted the facts to make me look like a diamond cutter, would I have been made to hit you? Of course not!"
Then she stopped talking for a brief moment during which she fixed the floor and seemed to regret that their paths had crossed.
And at last, she got her voice back and scolded him seriously.
"I just realize that you have no pride and honor. You're a lost soul. What kind of person are you if not a scumbag? I don't want to see you ever again. Get the heck out of here and now!" she told him vehemently.
Ben Madoff looked at her with evil eyes and called her names in a low tone of voice about. Then feeling like the sky was falling upon him, he walked away deeply vexed.
"Je ne veux non plus rester ici une seconde de plus," lui avancé-t-il devouré par la rage et en se mettant sur la voix de sortie.
Joanna yelled at him as he entered the elevator: "Go away and never near me or my mother again!"
But the owner of the city's general hospital didn't answer her and simply continued his way.
Now alone in the corridor, she took some time to think about the path she should now follow: Should she take the one leading to her office or rather the one leading to her mother's room, whom she might find still on her nerves ?
After weighing the pros and cons of both options, she chose the former and rushed to board the elevator. Destination: the seventh floor of the building.
In a very short time, she was back in the office where she stood straight on the step of the front door and began to look around. To her delight, she found that it was being cleaned from bottom to bottom and reorganized by the young lady of the cleaning department, one of the two witnesses to her delayed marriage to Ben Madoff.
But the young cleaner was not alone in reviving their new boss's office. Indeed, the beautiful nurse, the other witness of the delayed wedding, lent her a hand by putting in order the paperwork that was scattered on the floor.
And all of a sudden, someone opened the door to her private restroom at the end of the office. To Joanna's astonishment, Ben Madoff came out of it while trying to zip his trousers. Was it not the one she had asked moments ago to stay away from her ? But obviously her message went through one ear and left through the other.
"Good job Ben! You stirred trouble between my mother and me and now you're here, having fun in my office toilet," Joanna exclaimed, totally upset.
However, the chairman of Madinvestment did not even bother to reply to her. He just did as if he had heard heard nothing she said at all. He stood in front of the toilet door, giving his fiancée the impression that he was waiting for someone.
Joanna became extremely nervous as she began to suspect that something detrimental to her marriage with the tycoon had happened in the restroom and that she would soon find out.
And indeed, barely a minute later, her worry was confirmed. She saw a beautiful blonde in her thirties wearing a provocative leggings and plenty mascara coming out of the office toilet and holding the chairman of Madinvestment by the waist before tenderly kissing him on the cheek then on the lips. In all likelihood, the sublime woman was not working at the city's general hospital.
Joanna stared at her from head to toe and wondered what Ben Madoff was liking about her. Filled with hatred and jalousy, she questioned herself.
"What a playboy this Ben Madoff! So just because of a little argument between us, he runs into the arms of another woman," she sadly asserted before hastily leaving the office by slamming the door.
