The next day, after the lunch break, Class 2 D experienced an unexpected turn of events as two students from Class 1 D approached their classroom—Hosen Koji and Nanase Tsubasa, the true leaders of Class 1 D. They strode in with a sense of confidence that could not be mistaken for anything but power, quickly drawing the attention of every student in Ryuen's Class 2 D.
Hosen's tall and imposing figure stood at the forefront, his aggressive smirk challenging the room. He crossed his arms, eyeing the second-year students. Nanase, while less intimidating in demeanor, stood with a posture of composed authority, her eyes scanning the classroom with precision.
Hosen made no attempt at niceties. "So, this is Class 2 D, huh?" He chuckled, his voice thick with mockery. "Looks like you guys are still at the bottom of the barrel."
The students of Class 2 D narrowed their eyes, and murmurs filled the room. Ryuen leaned back in his seat, the usual cocky grin on his face.
"Who do we have here?" Ryuen said, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. "And what brings the mighty first years all the way here?"
Hosen ignored the question and continued, "We're here to introduce ourselves—my name's Hosen Koji, and this is Nanase Tsubasa. We're from Class 1 D. Just thought you ought to know that if any of you want to partner up with someone from our class for this exam, you'll have to get my approval first. Which means…" He let out a grin that seemed more like a sneer, "...if you really want to pass, you better start begging."
There was an obvious shock among the students. Murmurs grew louder until Ryuen's laughter cut through the noise. He stood up, slowly making his way toward Hosen, as if amused by the statement.
"I see," Ryuen said, a smirk tugging at his lips. "So you're the type who likes to play the tough guy, huh?"
Hosen turned his eyes to Ryuen, narrowing them slightly. "And you're supposed to be the leader here?" He looked Ryuen up and down, obviously unimpressed by his scrawny physique. "Thought you'd be more of a challenge considering the rumors."
Ryuen chuckled, not at all fazed. "Rumors, huh? Well, you look like the type who'd listen to gossip. You sure you're not scared of competing with us without a handicap?"
Nanase sighed quietly, sensing the tension escalating. She placed a hand on Hosen's arm. "Let's not start anything unnecessary, Hosen-kun. We're only here to convey our conditions."
Hosen shrugged her off but stepped back. Ryuen merely watched, his eyes glinting with interest.
Ibuki, one of Ryuen's classmates, scowled and spoke up. "What's the matter, Ryuen? You're not going to fight him?" She was surprised to see Ryuen holding back, especially after such a provocation.
Ryuen simply shrugged, his eyes still fixed on Hosen. "Now's not the right time for that, Ibuki. No point in getting physical when we're playing a different kind of game."
As the conversation between the two leaders was ongoing, more students from the other second-year classes had begun to arrive, drawn by the commotion.
Horikita, Sudou, Hirata, and Ayanokoji from Class 2 C stepped into the room, followed by Ichinose, Kanzaki, and a few others from Class 2 B. Hashimoto was the only one present from Class 2 A. All of them watched the exchange with interest, noting the dynamics between Hosen and Ryuen.
In that moment, Ayanokoji's keen eyes noticed something subtle—Hosen's gaze flickered towards Ichinose Honami, only for a brief second, before his usual indifferent expression returned. Ayanokoji stored that piece of information for later use—it was clear that Hosen might have a soft spot for the charismatic leader of Class 2 B.
As more first years arrived, including Takuya Yagami of Class 1 B and others, the teacher in charge, Shiba Katsunori, entered the room, his stern expression unchanging.
"That's enough," Shiba said, his voice commanding. "Nanase, Hosen, you're not supposed to be here without permission. Return to your class immediately."
Nanase bowed politely, tugging Hosen's arm. "Let's go, Hosen-kun. We've made our point."
Hosen gave one last smirk at Ryuen before turning to leave. "I hope you don't disappoint me, Class 2 D."
As the first-year duo walked out, Takuya Yagami stepped towards Kushida with a bright, innocent smile. "Kushida-senpai, it's been a while."
Kushida blinked, clearly taken aback but hiding it well. "Yagami-kun… we know each other?" she asked, her voice sweet and polite.
Yagami nodded eagerly. "We went to the same middle school. I was a year below you, but I've always admired you, Senpai."
Kushida's smile never wavered, though internally, she was wary. She had no recollection of Yagami from middle school, and she prided herself on knowing everyone.
"I see. It's nice to see a familiar face, Yagami-kun."
Yagami smiled even more. "I was hoping, Senpai, if you haven't decided on a partner yet… maybe we could pair up for the exam?"
Kushida kept her smile and nodded politely. "I'll think about it, Yagami-kun. Thank you for asking."
Yagami exchanged a brief glance with Ayanokoji, giving him a polite nod as any respectful underclassman would. Ayanokoji returned the nod with a neutral expression, watching the exchange unfold.
Once the crowd dispersed, Ayanokoji arranged to meet with Kushida alone behind the dormitory. As she arrived, Ayanokoji got straight to the point.
"Do you remember Yagami from middle school?" Ayanokoji asked, his voice serious.
Kushida shook her head, a frown tugging at her lips. "No. I know most people from my year, and even some from other years. I've never seen or heard of Takuya Yagami."
Ayanokoji's expression grew contemplative. "That's strange. He seems very certain about knowing you."
Kushida sighed. "What do you want me to do?"
"Accept his offer," Ayanokoji instructed. "Act normal around him, and stay adaptable. We don't know what he's planning."
Kushida nodded, her expression a mix of determination and worry. "Understood."
"Good. Go back to your room for now," Ayanokoji said, watching as she walked away.
An hour later, Ayanokoji met up with Sakura Airi. As soon as they were alone, Airi hugged him tightly, pressing her curvaceous body against his.
"I've got some information," Airi said, her voice soft as she rested her head on his chest. "I talked to a lot of first-year guys. Quite a few of them asked to partner up with me, but none of them seem to be leaders of their classes."
Ayanokoji nodded, his hands resting on Airi's waist, feeling the softness of her body. "That's good progress," he murmured, appreciating her voluptuous figure.
Airi blushed, her breath hitching as Ayanokoji's hands moved to her large breasts, gently caressing them. "Kiyotaka-kun…"
Ayanokoji enjoyed the feeling, knowing how much attention Airi's gravure idol-like body received from other guys at the school. After a few moments, he pulled away, giving her a soft smile.
"Keep up the good work, Airi."
She nodded, her cheeks flushed, before reluctantly stepping back. "I will."
An hour later, Ayanokoji was in his room when Ichinose arrived. She looked as radiant as ever, her kind smile lighting up the space.
"How did the task go?" Ayanokoji asked, motioning for her to sit beside him.
Ichinose smiled as she sat down. "I managed to gather a lot of information. I even found out who the leaders are for each first-year class. And…" She hesitated, her expression growing serious. "I heard something troubling. Apparently, there's a secret mission among the first years to expel you, Kiyotaka-kun. The Acting Director is offering 20 million private points to whoever accomplishes it."
Ayanokoji's expression didn't change, but internally, he was impressed. Ichinose had managed to uncover such sensitive information. He moved closer to her, his hand cupping her cheek.
"Thank you, Honami," he said softly, leaning in to kiss her.
Ichinose's eyes fluttered shut as their lips met, her body relaxing into his. Ayanokoji's hands roamed her body, caressing her voluptuous curves, her breasts, and her firm buttocks. She let out a soft sigh, her hands resting on his shoulders.
After a few moments, Ayanokoji pulled away, giving her a warm smile. "You've done well. I'm grateful for your help."
Ichinose blushed, her heart pounding in her chest. "I'll always help you, Kiyotaka-kun. No matter what."
