As Kail and Aiden were figuring out how to get out of the situation they were stuck in, the outside world was in its own ruins. Shapeshifters kidnapped Kail as she was asleep. The book was in her hands and for some reason, it was impossible to take it away.....
Inside the book...
" But how do u come up with this theory?", Aiden questioned with curiosity.
"Well it's like I just know what happened, that's it, like a hunch!", Kail replied.
Aiden pov...
She knew?, is she the one Maria told us about?, is she the one that Acel needs?,
Seems like she can read into emotions, is she the empath? then why can't she read my mind? I need to find out as soon as possible! I need to help Acel!!!, that's my first duty as a friend!
"So apparently I've been hiding something from you kail", Aiden said hesitantly.
Kail looked at him blankly, waiting for him to continue..
"I lost my memories and I don't know why I'm stuck in this book, I just know a few things about my past, and one of them is that I need to help this one person whom I remember clearly is my best friend, but I don't know how to get out of this book, his memory is the only thing keeping me from going insane, that smiling face saved me many times", Aiden explained.
Kail was just looking at him trying to process the information.
"Anyways we need to get out of here", Kail replied.
Aiden was confused at her answer he was expecting an outburst or at least an expressive answer from her.
"That's so unlike her", Aiden thought.
"I don't know how to put this but I know how you feel, and the desperation is deep so I'm just hoping I can be of some use to you", Kail said smiling.
"But hey, how are you still here?, last time ur consciousness returned back", Aiden asked curiously.
"Ohhh that's a long story, wanna listen?", kail said teasingly.
"Yes yes yes yes yes yes", Aiden replied nodding like a baby.
Flashback...
When Kail gave a thought to what happened before and how her consciousness traveled through the book, she realized that her consciousness traveled to another book before and she thought of it as a dream, she remembered she used a spell that day in university so she did it again and traveled into a book again.
"Oh so that's how it is, but my question was different, I asked how u made it stay?", Aiden said making his question clear.
"I don't know that....", kail replied.
Both looked at each other and...
An awkward silence was spread between them.....
In the outer world...
Shapeshifter pov....
"I bought the book Master, but the book was with a girl who was sleeping so I bought the girl too", a shapeshifter named Max said.
"Lock them in a room we will proceed with the ritual after my daughter's marriage", Noah (master) replied.
"But wait.....", Noah called Max stopping him in his tracks.
"That witch, manipulate her to open the snake seal", Noah continued.
Max nodded and left...
After that kail's body was locked away in a room with a witch who is supposed to do the unsealing magic on the book. The witch was wearing a purple cloak with black clothes underneath, she was pure white and she was moving like she was hypnotized. The witch closed her eyes absorbing and summoning the cosmic energy around and inside her, after she opened her eyes she started performing a spell.
In the book...
Aiden's POV...
Suddenly my head started hurting, I felt myself fading away, I felt I wasn't in control of my body like I'm just vanishing into thin air, Kail was in front of me looking at me with a confused expression, am I gonna die? leaving her alone, and then everything turned black...
In outer world...
Kail's house...
Ezra(dad) and Mia(mom) were looking for Kail, both were sitting there helpless not knowing what to do, they searched everywhere but couldn't find her, both were unaware of the fact that someone was looking at them through a crystal ball.
Unknown person's POV...
So they got the book and the girl, um interesting, so that vampire is gonna die soon, finally, my false creation will come to an end, it's been a ride but it has to be done, they were such a nuisance in the past, tryna compete with me? they'll know who's in control here.
On shapeshifter's planet.....
In a room locked from outside...
Two people were lying on the bed, both unconscious, and a black giant snake was all over the room with some golden scales looking like two strips around his neck, there was a woman sitting on the couch placed in that room, the woman had tears in her eyes and her eyes were filled with guilt, self-hatred was taking over her and she was on the verge of crying out all the emotions she was feeling at the moment.
Woman's POV...
I'm sorry Aiden, I'm so sorry, I couldn't hide better, they caught me, I promised u that I wouldn't let anyone manipulate me and take care of myself, I told u the seal wouldn't be opened, but they caught me, I'm sorry.....
The woman was repeatedly saying sorry in her thoughts until a deep voice interrupted her...
"It's not your fault Lizz (the woman), don't blame yourself, they stole extreme powers from us", Aiden said with care and worry in his eyes, gaining her attention.
"But.... Aiden", Lizz protested.
"Trust me Lizz it's not your fault and it's really fine, I have rested enough and for a really long time, now I gotta do what I should, I have gained enough power!!!", Aiden said reassuringly!
"I wasn't able to do anything for you Aiden, while u did so much for me, u were so kind to me when everyone looked down on me, I was a witch! Your enemy and u being a vampire treated me the best even better than my fellow witches, you gave shelter to me when our whole existence was wiped away, and even wanted to help me with my revenge, you treated me like your little sister, protected me till the end and never even let anyone touch me", Lizz exclaimed with a thankful smile.
"I can't do much at this point, but I'll try my best to help you" " she said almost crying.
Flashback.....
Lizz was just 10 year old when her whole clan was destroyed by shapeshifters, she was also at the brink of death when she was rescued by Aiden. Aiden was a royal vampire and next head of their family, he took lizz to his mansion and took care of her like his own sister. He would run after her with food in his hands, when Lizz would refuse to eat. He braided her hairs, take care of her whole night when she fell sick and when there was thunderstorms,he made sure she felt safe, secure and protected. He fought everyone for her, killed anyone who laid a finger on her. He always made sure to make her feel at home. He never made her feel like she was someone else.
When his parents came to know about her past they wanted to eliminate her but Aiden stood infront of Lizz and lost his royal status just to protect her, his family name wasn't taken away from him cause of his best friend Acel who was becoming the next vampire king, the youngest vampire king of all time, Acel protected both of them and supported them.
But Aiden still started living separately from his family with Lizz in the human world, he was also made the supplier of blood by Acel so he can visit there often.
Present time....
As Lizz was on the verge of crying, Aiden hugged her tightly, carrasing her hairs he said in a very soft tone...
"My little sister, you don't have to be so hard on yourself, your big brother is here now, he will handle everything from here, you can drop the act of being strong, did u miss me a lot!?, I'm so sorry for being this late, I'm sorry u had to go through all this, I'm sorry for everything".
Lizz started crying harder and harder on his shoulder, she wanted to say something but she couldn't due to heaviness in her throat.
"Didn't you miss me?, hmmmm?", Aiden asked softly while patting and carrasing her back.
"I missed you so much brother, where where youuuuuuuu, u know how hard it was for me???, living without you, every second I was dying to feel your presence, every time a thunderstorm striked I wanted u to hug me so bad, I felt miserable without you, I felt so insecure without u being around me, I wanted to nag at you when u boss around me, I wanted you to convince me to eat when I was feeling low and angry, I wanted to complain about everyone and everything to you", Lizz explained while sobbing on Aiden's chest.
"Shhhhh!!!, now I here, u can do all that hmmm, brother can't see you crying, pleaseeee", Aiden said trying to calm Lizz down.
Suddenly the black snake wrapped itself around them...
