In the faraway kingdom of Gehenna, where it's a dark and stormy night, the trees and lands were empty, dark, and barren, and the only animals lived there were ravens, crows and werewolves, there once lived a man named, Prince Lucifer and He lived in Gehenna Castle, with His evil imps and demons, which are animal spirits and He enjoyed the company of His companions.
One night, He sat in His throne with a satisfied smile, petting His pet werewolf, Wolfy, contemplative.
He enjoyed being evil and despicable; it made His heart jump for joy, but something was missing. He had to admit, He loved His castle, His friends and His life.
Every day, He would look out the window and smile on His fellow demons, causing His victims suffering and misery.
He would see them striking the townspeople with belts and whips, forcing them to work and toil, without giving them food or water and everytime His victim wouldn't listen to His orders or obey Him, the demons would grab their whip and strike the person's back, making him or her bleed and cry out in pain, without any sympathy.
"Please, stop," one of the workers said. "We are done with our work!" Everyday, the townsfolk would do drudgery, whether that would be farming, doing cotton work, taking care of the crops, chopping off wood, getting milk from the cows and goats and carrying the buckets of milk at the farmhouse, or folding Prince Lucifer's laundry after washing them and hanging them on the clothesline, etc.
The townsfolk would sweat and cry, from all of their hard work and the worst part is, Prince Lucifer didn't care about their suffering.
There was this one time, when a maid was doing housework, she would go to Prince Lucifer's bedroom and after completing her chores, she would walk up to His throne and begged, "Please, Your Majesty," she said, "I've finished my chores, and I am tired."
"May I please get some food and water?" Prince Lucifer, who wanted to make this maid's life miserable, pretended to think. "Hmmm...let me think...No!"
The maid began to cry, she kneeled down to her knees and pleaded earnestly, "Oh please, please, Your Majesty, I haven't eaten in four weeks."
Prince Lucifer laughed evilly, "Oh no, you have worked very hard and for that, I want you to work extra hard and then, I'll probably give you some food."
The maid gulped, rising up and said, bowing down, "Of course, your Majesty." With that, the maid took her leave.
After she left, Prince Lucifer chuckled. "This is the life." He said, contented. Lucifer grabbed a bowl of green grapes and tossed one in his mouth, quenching His hunger while looking out the window with satisfication.
Then, the next night, when the crescent moon was shining its light upon Gehenna, Prince Lucifer was eating dinner with His imps and demons at the dining hall.
Looking at their companion, the demon, who was a troll, asked Him, "What's wrong, Prince Lucifer?"
Prince Lucifer sighed sadly, then said, "Oh, my dear friends, I love my life, but I wish I can cause misery at other realms in the universe as our own home. I wish there was a way I could make other people suffer, not just mentally, but physically."
Then, Prince Lucifer pounded the table with His fist and said angrily, "I wish...there was an evil way to make other kingdoms suffer and use their suffering to make other people feel...cruel."
When Prince Lucifer finished his dinner, he excused himself from the table and decided to walk to the library.
At the Gehenna Castle Library, Prince Lucifer was sitting on a comfy chair, looking through His books, searching for an idea to somehow place a curse somewhere. After hours of searching, He decided to (almost) give up, when He stumbled upon an old, dusty bookcase, which was teeming with ancient books about mystical and mythical flowers and creatures.
Using His finger to browse through the colorful spines of the books, He searched high and low on each and every volume. Then, Prince Lucifer came across an ancient blue book that caught his evil eye; He gingerly extracted the book from its spot and glimpsed at it.
This particular book was colored blue, it was covered in dust and old spider cobwebs, making it difficult to see the title.
After blowing away the dust and cobwebs and coughing from the dusty clouds, the book was now legible to read.
The book was blue with a golden hinge and lock, and magically, silver letters appeared and Prince Lucifer read the title: "The Book Of The Needle Ice & Frost Flowers". Prince Lucifer was intrigued. "Hmmm," He thought to Himself, "Maybe this book might give me some ideas."
Before He could open the book, the book magically opened itself with the golden key and showed Him the first page of the book, which had an illustration of the mystical "The Needle Ice" and it told him the description.
It says, "The Needle Ice" is a magical and powerful mystical flower that grows for every 10,000 years in a magical forest called, "The Quiet Silverbell Forest", where all of the mystical flora and fauna live and thrive.
Legend says that whomever does a misdeed or says mean words, "The Needle Ice" will cast dark magic on its victim, whether that be a person or an animal, making their hands and hearts cold and numb, bleed to death and causing them to get sick, rendering them to become cruel and harsh to one another."
Prince Lucifer was fascinated by this particular flower.
"Tell me more," He demanded. "Tell me more." The book continued, "The Needle Ice's petals are shaped like needles and the stems and leaves are both covered in ice and thorns, and its dark magic has a special effect: it has cryokinectic magic and whoever is cruel and mean enough, has their hands and hearts affected, making themselves vulnerable to its magic and might cause fatal death."
Then, the book turned a few pages and on the next page it showed an illustration of the "Frost Flowers", and it says, "The Frost Flowers are the most powerful, most dangerous magical flowers in the world.
They're silvery white with petals shaped like the different patterns of snowflakes and their stems and leaves are sky blue which sometimes turn white like snow.
"The Frost Flowers" has the same magical effect like the "The Needle Ice", but when you're affected by the "The Frost Flowers", its magic turns your whole body silvery white and in the cold, you start to uncontrollably shiver from the dark magic, you start coughing blood and you start to get chills and you become feverish, might also cause fatal death."
With that, the book closed itself and it magically returned its spot into the bookcase. Prince Lucifer chuckled evilly and said, "That's it!" That's how I can curse the other kingdoms: I'll go the "The Quiet Silverbell Forest", find those magical flowers and curse the innocent townsfolk and their creatures, by using dark magic and cast an evil spell."
When Prince Lucifer walked out of the library, He had an evil grin on His face and rapidly went back to His dining hall and found His demon friends.
He told them, "My fellow demon companions, we are going to the "The Quiet Silverbell Forest", and find those magical flowers and curse our first kingdom."
One of the demons, who was a scorpion, said, "Where are we going to curse our first kingdom, Your Majesty?" Prince Lucifer stopped and He thought for a moment.
He didn't think this through. 'Where are we going to curse our first kingdom?' He thought to Himself.
He walked over to His study, with His demons and imps following Him, and went to His globe.
He took his finger and with magical sparks glowing, the magic globe spun around and around, trying to find their location. Then He commanded to the globe, "Stop." The globe obeyed and stopped. Once it stopped, Prince Lucifer pointed to the location: The kingdom Of Alta.
"Alta?" His imps asked.
Prince Lucifer chuckled.
"Yes," He said, "Alta is the perfect first choice." The imps looked at each other and one imp, who was a snake, asked, "How will we get to The Quiet Silverbell Forest?" Prince Lucifer smacked his temple and mumbled under His breath, "You guys are idiots."
Then, He said calmly but frcefully, "We're going to take our coach with the mighty Pegasus to get us there." The impish animal-demons nodded their heads. "Ooohh, that makes sense." Prince Lucifer sighed in frustration.
He thought to Himself, 'I wish I had smarter demons.' Then He said, taking His dark red cloak from the coat rack and putting it on, "Come on, my fellow friends, let's go to The Quiet Silverbell Forest and find those magical flowers."
Once it was dark and stormy, the night fell as soon as dinner was over and the slaves were going to rest in the Gehenna Castle after they've finished their chores for the night.
Once all was quiet, Prince Lucifer and His companions climbed in the coach carriage with their Pegasus, Luke, as their steed and Lucifer told Luke, "Luke, please take us to the Quiet Silverbell Forest so we can retrieve the Needle Ice and Frost Flowers."
With that, Lucifer whipped Luke's back with the whip, which caused Him to neigh loudly and then they were off the ground and started to fly through the night sky. "Next Stop: The Quiet Silverbell Forest," Prince Lucifer said to His demons. As Prince Lucifer started to laugh evilly, his demons joined Him.
Their journey to The Quiet Silverbell Forest has just begun.
