My mom always told me to love my mother land. I'm Jasmine from South Africa. Today I'm leaving Canada for Johannesburg. I've been living in Canada for 2 years but mom was transfered back to our home town so I had to follow her back. "Jasmine" mom called out "Coming".
While growing up, I've always heard about my cousin, Leila. She never loved me but now I was forced to go live with them. I also always heard she could be a arrogant when she was angry but....."Jasmine we good to go?" mom said again
"Yeah mom. I'll be done in 30 seconds". And that's how we left for the airport. As I sat in the plane I thought of the last time I was here and the memories of Daddy's death flashed back in my mind bringing a very sad atmosphere around but it disappeared very quickly. I whispered in to myself " Daddy I know you're always with me and you forever live in my heart. I promise I'll make you proud." I remember when he used to tell me to always work hard and make him proud and that's exactly what I was going to do.
