Winter's mouth twitched, she glanced at the chiefs with a sneer on her lips. She looked at them with disappointment. They couldn't find anything better to use against her rather they found a defeated opponent.
But she still kept her guard up, since Prince had warned her about the meeting today their is certainly something up their sleeve.
The calculating look in Gu Dong eyes is faintly visible however still kept her on alert. This person although useless if used properly will be a fatal will be a fatal weapon capable of bringing her down.
Luckily she had hypnotized the chiefs and has them wrapped around her fingers, she is sure about their backup.
Gu Dong narrowed his eyes at the unfazed girl and felt greatly displeased. He had being expecting her to have a crack in her mental fortitude and he will use that momentum to counter hypnotized.
He felt that but in a corner of his mind the bugging fear grew and his eyes grew murky. This girl might not look much but she is a formidable foe able to shake his influence in the kingdom if this engagement happens.
He kept his neutral look and pursed his lips worrying over the girl.
If this girl is any good she will be able to fill in the position of the chiefs he lost.
Gu Dong eyes fill with relieve knowing he didn't really add the chiefs to his calculations.
"Good afternoon miss" Winter smiled elegantly at the girl.
Ify glared at the radiant and glowing girl, her jealous eyes swept the entirety of the girl's flawless skin burning with anger.
The girl's smooth and beautiful face with a bright lister all fell into her eyes filled with deep resentment. She clenched her fist and released several times.
She wished she could test the girl apart to millions of tiny pieces and feed them to a dog!
This girl ruined her life and she became a beast no one wants to see. Her life from the top beauties in the kingdom changed drastically and everybody avoids her like a plague.
Even her doting father avoids her and is secretly trying to get rid of her since he found out only the crown prince can cure her.
Winter seriously thought the girl will attack her if it wasn't for the guard holding her back. Her eyes flickered with several flashes. Her heart chilled at the thought of Prince brutal method of torturing people. Her fight in the club then is good example of how he was ready to kill Papillon if she didn't interfere.
This girl also has a body full of disgusting pus rotting away. Several layers of nauseating black and yellow skin dried on different spots on her body. Her face is unrecognizable under the cluster of millions of tiny black spots and Winter barely recognized her through the hate filled eyes.
A pus suddenly popped bringing out dark substance looking sticky and has a disgusting stench to it. The girl stunk heavily of a terrible odor, the guard holding her back has his face all scrunched up in disgust.
Winter felt horrified just looking at the girl.
The plan has to be carried out with extreme precision or she isn't sure if what fate they will suffer if found out.
Prince seems to have a soft spot for her and will likely spare her with little torture. It's the rest that worries her.
Especially Nyron, he haven't been exposed to little troubled except the powers school training and which is lessened due to his identity.
At a distance away Nyron suddenly felt a chill go down his spine and his intuition told him someone is talking bad about him.
He jumped over a three metres tall log easily, without breaking a sweat. The training he underwent since childhood made it easier for him to do some unnatural things which are not unique to his kind.
Winter snapped out of her thoughts with the voice of a guard.
"An allegations regarding miss Powers have been brought forward to the chiefs council"
" Speak" Gu Dong beaconed to the guard.
" Miss Powers is accused of deliberate harm and coercion of a person in power to inflict injury on someone"
"The offence is further amplified due to the position the victim holds as one of the descendant of an esteemed high ranking chief" the guard listed. He inwardly sneered at the thick skin of the kingdom chiefs. When did the chief Ian become an esteemed chief.
He is worthless enough to be ridiculed by the whole kingdom and is known for only receiving his post due to the intervention of his cousin a former esteemed high ranked chief.
Now calling him esteemed is over fetched!
He isn't the only thinking that. The other chiefs too looked down on him and felt disgusted. He got the position they earned through hard work easily. The lower chiefs that have been suppressed and never got a chance to fight back secretly loathe him.
"Do you acknowledge the accusations brought forward against you Miss Powers?"
Gu Dong asked,his aura having recovered fully covered the room. He gazed down at the girl his fear slightly alleviating.
The more he looked the more he felt ridiculous for having feared the girl.
"Um, I don't think we should make it difficult for the miss"
A timid voice spoke up, he is from the rank of the lower chiefs and normally won't talk in a meeting filled with big weights,but today he is madly infatuated with Winter earning him the courage to speak.
Gu Dong glanced at him casually disregarding his words. His words can't make any splash among the group here so he isn't afraid.
"Yes! There might have been some misunderstandings" Another chief spoke up.
This one happens to be a high ranked chief, fourth in line.
"How can she coerce the crown prince into doing anything for her?!"
Several voices spoke up each fighting to be the loudest in hopes of Winter hearing them.
"Be silent!" Gu Dong bellowed out. His face from and dark. He glared at the chiefs and looked down on them from the bottom of his heart.
Stupid,they are all stupid!
He didn't expect them to irrationally interrupt. Given their years of holding the title of the kingdom's chiefs they are all shrewd even the second chief Ian. Every shrew person even hypnotized first priority is himself.
He overlooked the fact he might have underestimated Winter, he subconsciously rejected it. His mind no longer free from the fear is now proud.
"You bitch!" Ify ran up in anger to Winter and the feeling of tearing her up became stronger. Her hand was quickly held back by the guard.
She struggled hard in the guard's arm her spots filled face twisted darkly.
"You have seduced them right!"
Winter's lips curled up in satisfaction. This girl had tried to harm her and she had taught her a lesson and the girl is also left in a miserable state by Prince.
She isn't a saint that will sympathize with her.
That isn't the reason why she is excited. A sharp glint flashed through her eyes replacing the indifferent look with bone chilling coldness.
She might as well leave this gift for Prince before leaving.
"I do not acknowledge them" Winter soft but firm voice echoed loudly. Her unwavering gaze settled on Gu Dong's.
She isn't a fool to admit to those accusations. In supernatural history, once someone admits to something it will be hard to refute them and can be life threatening if the kid gives out a death sentence.
"Yes"
"Well said miss Powers!"
"Don't back down"
The chiefs sounded like a cheer squad full of bootlickers. Everyone knew the rules and are supporting Winter's decision of of refuting them.
They forgot they were part of the group wishing for her to be gone two hours ago.
"The evidence is solid with dozens of witness do you still dare deny your crime?!" Gu Dong yelled frustrated. The chiefs although not included in his plans can still destroy them if this trends continues.
"I believe you are mistaken chief" Winter smiled amicably and shook her head.
"I didn't deny them, I refuted them"
Gu Dong gritted his teeth and hid eyes glared daggers at the young girl in the middle of the room.
"Don't misunderstand me chief"
"These are all baseless accusations and i have reasons to believe they are personal attack, therefore the evidence and witnesses can be falsified"
Winter mouth felt dry. This is the longest she has talked since entering the room.
And it's worth it seeing the chiefs restrained expression,all eager to get up and beat Gu Dong to a pulp.
"I also believe this is a personal attack!"
"The whole kingdom knows how his daughter almost became crown princess"
" He must have felt miss Powers stole his daughter position and is out to get her"

" It he might have even taken a fancy to her and doesn't want her to be with the crown prince"
The gazes of the chiefs turned unfriendly on hearing this.
Their looks towards him like a love rival.
