A woman wrapped in bone chilling black armor covered with a cold aura, colder than the snow below, hovered fifty feet in the air, her cloak fluttering heavily in the wind.
Her eyes coldly watching the deathly glare of the huge balls of eyes narrowed into a slit.
She returned it's glare with unfazed coldness and calmness.
She looked like a cold warrior queen staring at her prey.
"Rarrh!" The 'Monkey' gave a threatening roar at the pesky insect flying in front of it.
This insect dares to stare back at him!
Utter disrespect!
He must punish it duly and put this insect back in it's place!
He raised it's hand to swat the insect it's speed breaking the sound barrier.
Swish!
Josephina cold and beautiful eyes narrowed on the incoming hand filled with multiple fingers. A hit from that will definately cause terrible injuries.
She calmly muttered a few words under her breath and before the incoming hand could hit her..
Boom!
She threw it off with her own palm strike, a beam of light following the palm creating sparks flying around.
Her eyes followed the flaying fifty feet monkey.
"Arhh!"
The 'monkey' groaned in pain taking a few steps backwards.
This insect dares to hit him!
He glanced down at his charred arm and bikes in anger.
Josephina didn't give it healing space sending herself towards him like a rocket.
"Ju ack ma.." she muttered the words fast and..
Swoosh!
"Rarrh!"
The 'monkey' uninjured hand went up covering it's damaged eye with a human sized hole.
"Rarrh!"
It roared again it's one good eyes warily staring at the flying insect.
"Rarrh!" Why should it be wary of this insect?
'monkey' roared in anger feeling it's dignity trampled by a useless insect only meant to die under it's feet.
He is one of the proud snow mountain monkeys with only few in his race only a rank away from the king. Every one of his attacks always ends up with insects crushed under his feet.
But why is this of the insects the one inflicting him with pain?!
And why does it keeps hovering above his eyes?!
And now she injured him, destroying his favorite eye!
Of course he can't accept that.
The snow monkey eyes burned with anger and felt this troublesome insect mustn't be allowed to live.
The long line of ancestors won't be proud with him if he didn't punish this insect and show her where she belonged!
His tail curled up and straightened several times it baleful aura spreading across the battlefield.
Josephina narrowed her eyes and sneered at the snow monkey feeling all her efforts are not worth it.
She planned to capture it and add it to one of her armies. It's attack power will increase and strengthening her army.
It is very rare one come across a high ranked enchanted beast.
An enchanted beast can take down armies on their own like it did to hers and capturing a high will only be profitable.
But now she felt her efforts are going to waste!
It's attack are so predictable, like this rings attack have been used several times in the battle already and it doesn't use it's large and deadly body to good use. Doing this will make people find out it's weak spot quickly and they will use that to their advantage.
It also seems like it will take a while and recources to tame it.
She don't have enough time for that.
She will have to kill it now.
Her eyes suddenly turned serious.
Killing it won't be easy, she could have killed it a while ago but she had hopes of taming it then.
Now..
Slowly a black spear with yellow tip appeared in her hands, it's tip glint darkly into the spewing bit of light in the morning sky.
A glint shine in her eyes as she stared at the snow monkey darkly.
The snow monkey felt a shiver go down it's spine and the mind eating fear of the insect grew widely. This insect had kept on inflicting pain on him since they had begun battling and he hasn't been able to get one of its own.
Since the beginning when he had first saw the insect a fear had gradually drilled into his mind but he ignored it and saw the insect as a real threat.
Even her aura is no less than his and completely overwhelm his lessening the pain inflicted on the ants below.
Now the fear is like a whispering voice crawling back to the front of his mind.
The proud snow monkey can't help but cower seeing the insect.
Josephina charged her spear up not at all bothered with the emotional changes in the snow monkey. She had gone easy on it and now she is going all out her aura also spread around the battlefield.
"Rarrh?"
The snow monkey groaned in confusion.
Silly him!
How can he forget that he is making his ancestor proud and he shouldn't be afraid of this insect.
This insect should be the one afraid of him.
He raised his tail and continued with his attack.
Josephina shook her head and all hoped of taming it shattered.
She readied her spear and chanted the final spell enchanting the spear.
"Rarrh!" The snow monkey threw out his attacks his tail blasting rings of attacks. Any remaining insects below quickly died with the unexpected attack since a while ago the snow monkey paused it attack.
If the people below knew it's fear for Josephina, they will hit their heads in regret.
Josephina flung her spear aiming for the other eye of the snow monkey.
The enchanted spell only needs to make contact with the body of target to slowly corrode it.
The large eye that kept staring at her with a condescending look is a perfect target.
The spear approached the target at astonishing speed.
The waves of the energy went up at her.
Josephina cloak flew and shield her from the energy blast perfectly.
She can already feel the moment when the beast will fall down.
It might not be useful for taming but it's energy core is good source to upgrade her collection of enchanted beast.
A sudden twist sent her blasting away from the sky meters away creating a crater far from the battlefield.
Boom!
Crash!
Josephina held her broken body, standing up with great difficulty, her blood flowed down forming a small puddle by her feet.
Her armor had broken to pieces with parts of it lodged in her body. Her cloak torn to pieces layer around her.
The cloak had lessened the impact to this extent for her.
"Ack! Ack!" She coughed out violently. A trail of black blood flowed from her nose.
Despite her injuries a small crooked smile appeared on her lips.
Her eyes glint fiercely, the snow monkey figure shining brightly in them.
"I guess you can still be tamed"
A bright white light covered her body wrapping her in soft thrum of gentle energy.
The white light slowly uncovered her perfect body.
Her snow white skin looked flawless and shining. No single scar or bruise can be found.
Except..
She gripped the long spear wedged in her stomach and pulled it out with a groan.
Ignoring the large hole in her stomach she levitated up again.
A black cloak flew up with her wrapping around her shoulder again.
Piece by piece her armor attach back to her body.
Her cold eyes had a hint of craziness added she flew back to the battlefield.
"You do know how to hide"
Back at the school.
" Cancel the search"
"What?"
Kira turned to Joseph with confusion in her eyes. Joseph loves his sister too much to give up on searching for her.
"What do you mean Joseph?" Dave asked.
He too has the same thoughts as Kira.
Beauty calm eyes just lightly shifted to him. She knew they had too many casualties on this case without any real progress.
They had chased pseudo energy all day wasting both time and energy.
The person they are working against at the other end isn't a small opponent and has apparently calculated all of their moves in advance.
They can't work against the person in the dark while they are in the light.
And besides Josephina is coming soon, they had better cut their losses now and brace the oncoming consequences.
"The search can't be continued"
Joseph said lightly.
He meant what he said. The energy in his body has disappeared not into anywhere but he is the one that can't find it.
After suffering another round of attacks he realized if he tries to bring on the search it's like a automatic button for the attacks to start.
And they haven't made any progress.
It's better to wait for the dean to solve this.
His being grew deep and his teeth slightly clenched.
His mother condescending tone a few days ago echoed in his mind.

Saint rushed in with a panicked gait. His eyes flickered on seeing the young generation in the room.
"Everyone leave" he ordered.
The people in the room knew it must be a big news and silently left each with thoughts to investigate secretly.
Joseph nodded at Saint.
"The travelling group are under attack by an S class enchanted beast and several losses have been recorded!"
Joseph eyes looked up in slight shock!
His mother is stronger than a S class beast, so they should be done by now.
Or..
Is she actually giving him time to do his job?
It is something she can do.
