Joseph controlled his arms raised in the air and stretched it towards Jude.
He had controlled the fire dragons energy earlier to a quarter of his power. He had intended to capture the latter earlier but had suddenly become pissed when he said he can't know where his sister is!
On his last visit to his mother's office she had insulted him as an incapable person. He doesn't know what Winter is up to the last few weeks and when she asked him he was completely clueless garnering the insult from his mother.
He had indeed felt useless and not good enough.
He had tried to get even more powerful to be able to be in control of the most important things to him.
Now he had gotten out of his levelling up chamber only to find out his sister haven't been heard of for days!
It made him feel useless and out of control to know someone else knows about her and he doesn't.
He felt powerless and hopeless and this infuriated him greatly.
His eyes shrunk darkly again as he intensified the energy concentration.
He wanted that boy to kneel and confess where his sister is.
Jude on the receiving end is greatly panicked although his face is still calm with only slightly furrowed brows.
Only he knew how low his heart had sunk and on seeing the two fire dragons roaring towards him in a flash his legs went limp barely holding him up.
The remaining energy in his body was meant for him to escape finally at the right moment but it seems like he had underestimated Joseph greatly which led to this awful situation he is in.
The dragons stopped an inch away from him and gave a loud shriek.
"Srchh"
Jude frown deepened and his eyes and ears bleed along with his mouth and nose. His stared straight at the black blood he had spat out with dread.
'the dragons are also poisonous'
His clothes melted away with the heat and the blood also evaporated into the air.
His stood stark naked with a little film covering his private part clenching his fist quietly.
Joseph walked closer to him and bent his head looking down looking like a god of death and destruction.
He opened his mouth and uttered coldly.
"Where is Winter?"
Jude looked up stubbornly and finally gave a small smile.
Even if he does today it is for a good reason! If Joseph finds out how she got missing in the first place?
The consequences will be unimaginable and destructive!
Jude spat out the thick black blood in his throat, his pale face looking shockingly bloodless! His figure swayed weakly almost like a small gust of wind can blow him away!
He had not received any physical harm from those dragons but have already been this affected. A strike from those dragons now will instantly kill him! Without any remains!
"Am sorry but I can't tell you where she is" He told Joseph weakly, firmly and calmly.
He will never give up, if he dies his father will fight Josephina and get his sister from her. Giving up Winter now will make them banished or worse even killed!
Joseph paused sharply and dropped his hands instantly dissipating the yellow fire dragons. The threatening dark clouds in the sky also gradually lighten up.
Joseph pursed his lips and silently watched Jude his eyes straight, cold and focused.
Jude just stared tiredly at the boy in front of him and stood straight his back not bending.
He doesn't know what Joseph is up to now and his powers doesn't work on Joseph. He can't even release them as they have been used up leaving a little that can only be activated if the second is also activated.
He can't even use this chance to escape because Joseph just deactivated the dragons and not lower this vigilance against him.
"Is she alive?"
Joseph asked suddenly startling Jude a bit.
Joseph can't feel her energy still lingering around neither have any of her scent found anywhere.
She seem to have just vanished into the air not even the air because that can even leave her scent.
His quiet hopes are that she is alive and well or he wouldn't know what to do if otherwise.
"Yes" Jude answered unsure. They haven't heard anything from the people that went to retrieve Winter and don't know if those people are still alive.
"So tell me where is she?" Joseph asked calmly different from the chilly voice he had earlier.
"I can't" Jude replied.
Joseph didn't say another word, he just raised his hand and sent a blast into the sky.
A few rumbles started again gathering into a condensed cloud shape. The cloud lowered itself till it hovered the area within miles away casting a dark spell around. Threatening bolts of lightning swarm in it occasionally lighting up the place.
Jude looked up with great anxiety and trepidation rose in his heart.
'is this a mightier dragon?'
The cloud answered his question sending a finger size bolt of lightning straight at him.
He jumped away and almost immediately another came to his spot frying the black blue. The fire dragons had turned it black with the heat they brought and this lightning turned the area of its blast bright blue with little streaks of black.
He kept jumping avoiding the lightning but as if the lightning has a mind of its own before his legs even touch the ground firmly another is sent at him.
He happened to glance at Joseph and saw the latter not even raising a hand to control this weather and his heart sank.
This thing does have a mind of its own!
The only relieve is that it's isn't fast enough for him to use his physical energy to jump away.
However that isn't a relieve also since his physical energy is depleted and his stamina used up.
His eyes had begun to blur and his movements getting sluggish.
He didn't manage to jump in time when a baby's arm size lightning hit him!
