A maid knelt down in front of Winter and Prince. She had tears streaming down her face and kept apologizing bobbing her head up and down.
"Am very sorry..so sorry" she apologized and looked up to Prince.
She felt great injustice. She had just tried to teach this vixen a lesson but here she is about to be punished for doing a right thing.
"You should not apologize to me" Prince said his voice showing signs of restraint.
His future wife had stood up after the king and queen left and he saw her dress had torn in an embarrassing place. Underneath was an indescribable attire used to wrap up herself. He quickly used his coat to cover it.
The cut doesn't look like a simple tear, the dress itself is very expensive and is made with a little magic it shouldn't rip easily. Someone had done something to it!
He interrogated all the maids brought for Winter and he found out it is the maid that followed her into the bathroom to help with her dressing.
How could he sent the hatred in the maids eyes?!
"Am sorry" The maid reluctantly apologized to Winter.
"Apology not accepted"
"You..!" The maid choked heavily!
"It is just a fabric today, tomorrow it might be my throat" of course she didn't plan on staying till the next day.
"I dare not!" The maid quickly denied seeing the black face of the crown prince.
"You hate me for whatever reason I don't know so what assurance do I have that you won't poison me! As a matter of fact I don't trust any of you" Winter said coolly. She can feel the energy rising in Prince and knows he is getting ready to attack the maids. She now knows he won't harm her for whatever reason.
"We won't dare" the other maids fell down in fear. The crown prince will do anything for the lady, including disposing of them!
"I don't feel comfortable with maids around me" Winter turned to Prince.
Prince pursed his lips and replied" you must have maids because of your position"
"What is my position?" Winter asked indifferently and took an apple then bit into it feeling a comfortable feeling entered her body. The fruits provided to her all had magical properties.
"Um.."
"A captive?" Winter took another bite " or..?"
"It will be announced tonight" Prince said firmly.
"You four come with me" He beaconed to the maids and left the room.
"It's getting interesting" Winter curled up her lips. Now she didn't want to leave without knowing what will happen tonight. She wanted to leave in the afternoon before.
Evening.
A group of maids different from the ones that came in the morning entered the room.
"Good evening lady" they bowed politely.
This is the special group Prince personally taught the way to take care of Winter.
"Come on" Winter replied. The basket full of cosmetic in their hand shows their intention.
After an hour of styling they let her go.
Winter held her dizzy head' this is why I hate this stuff!'
She wore a black gown but not like the morning design. This one is off shoulder and had long sleeve hand. It is a free gown purely black, and sparkled as she moved. A necklace with huge pieces of pink diamond adorned her neck and a pair of pink earring on her ear, the jewelry made her feel like she is carrying bricks instead. Hairpins clipped up her hair with just a few strands falling here and there.
This makeup artists are incompetent and went for a cute type which didn't compliment her face but made the whole situation odd.
She has a sexy and mature sort of look, not like most ladies cute and innocent.
She had wiped her face free of makeup after seeing the thing.
The maids told her she could go outside now.
Winter walked to the hall they led her to and saw the extravagance. This looks like a huge party for a lot of people.
She just gave a small smile and walked over to the snacks table. She had seen some edible food there and she do need to fill her stomach.
She took some filling her plate to the brim and walked back to the seats to eat.
"Ah!"
Clang!
The plate had fallen and it contents landed on a lady. She looked like a big mess as her white cloths glittered with different colors.
The maids eyes sparkled in delight!
'she is finally here!'
"So sorry" Winter apologized.
"It's actually my fault" Feiye waved her hand and turned back to see the royal maids behind the lady with clumsy hands.
'who is this girl?' she wondered.
"And why can't you help your lady carry the dishes?!" She berated the maids.
The maids just woke up! That's right if the crown prince find out they were secretly petty.
The screams this afternoon floated in their mind.
"So sorry miss Feiye" The maids bowed and apologized.
Feiye eyes deepen 'seems like this girl isn't really respected'
Winter didn't plan on making herself the lady of this place so she doesn't care about their obvious petty tricks.
"Am I the one you ought to apologize to?!" Feiye warned in a threatening voice.
"We are sorry miss" they bowed reluctantly to Winter.
"Get out of here" Winter said coolly.
The maids stood not listening, according to the orders they were to leave if she asked them to but they felt reluctant a being weaker than them is commading them.
"Didn't you hear?" Feiye.
"Yes miss" they bowed and leave.
"Please don't mind them, they are just willful sometimes" Feiye said like the lady of the house.
Winter eyes glistened with a light.
"I do mind but what can I do" Winter shrugged and turned to leave.
The ladies behind Feiye grew angry and dragged her back.
"Why act proud?!" A really tall lady screamed spraying Winter with some saliva.
"Yeah, Feiye helped you chased those trouble makers and you can't even say thank you" Another chimed in.
Winter signed. What is with all this people and thanks?!
Winter turned to go uninterested, these lackeys can't even stir anything in her.
"Don't you know our Feiye will be the crown princess soon, you should hurry and curry favor but see your disrespectful behavior"
Winter turned back and smiled, it lot up the area around them. Even without makeup she is still dazzling over shined the rest of the people in the
