As for what he was going to buy, cultivation resources was out since his money earning capacity was not going to increase drastically anytime soon.
So he decided to invest in an opportunity, Demon Crests of the Purple Linden Trees in Yantai. These things were now used as feed for contracted beasts and nothing else but a Japanese firm would find a way to manufacture defensive equipment from these and the value to skyrocket from 3500 a piece to around 100 thousand per crest in the near future.
So he didn't wait to buy 2000 pieces at a slight discount and stored them at a reliable warehouse for rent, while continuing to work in Bo City.
He also discovered someone that he thought he would never possess, an innate Talent.
Innate Talents were usually awakened alongside the first element but he didn't actually awaken the Light Element the actual Lin Feng did as for him he was just a traveler here.
Once he had awakened the Earth element he had his own talent, but it was difficult to see without first casting it's Basic spell, Earth Wave.
When he was practicing the spell after controlling the Star Dust the stars lit up brighter than usual, as bright as a Second tier spell and instead of producing the First tier Earth Wave Shift, it produced Earth Wave Delay which is the second tier of the basic spell.
His talent turned out to be Mutated Earth Stars the same as Dongfang Lie's Mutated Fire stars.
All of his Earth spells could be upgraded to a small tier above, but that didn't mean that his cultivation was at that level it was still normal.
Although it wouldn't shine immediately, he was still ecstatic to have a talent.
During this period he managed several side quests as well.
He joined the Light Element School at Pearl University's Azure Campus for newbies as an intermediate mage directly, secondly he reached second and third tier of the Basic level in Earth magic in five months and used the remaining Holy Spring he had to speed up his cultivation.
He had also managed to control his Nebula and cast Star Patterns of the Light element.
