The Cursed Luna~
Katherine stepped into the pack house beside Kieran. The familiar scent of pinewood filled the air. She barely had a moment to take it all in before Astrid all but barreled into her, making her stumble slightly.
"Astrid!" Kieran scolded.
Astrid seemed to catch herself as she stepped back, smiling sheepishly. "I missed you." She pouted, reaching out again and pulled Katherine into a hug. This time, she was much more careful. Katherine let herself be smothered by Astrid without complaints.
"I'm alright, Astrid," she assured softly, even though she could feel her strength faltering.
"Hey! I've been keeping you company ever since. Are you just going to dismiss my effort?" Rave's voice came from behind, and just then did Katherine realize Rave was also there.
