"This will be your room," Astrid said softly, stopping before a door at the end of the hallway. She pushed it open, revealing a simple space. It was more than Katherine imagined she would get. The walls were painted in soothing shades of blue, a medium-sized bed, while a small wooden desk and a cushioned armchair sat by the window overlooking the pack's territory.
"Thank you, Astrid. I honestly don't know how else to thank you," Katherine croaked out. The woman's eyes softened at Katherine's words.
"Oh, darling. You don't have to thank me. Something tells me we are going to be good friends," Astrid winked, a smile on her lips. She turned to leave but paused at the door. "Make yourself comfortable. Training starts tomorrow at dawn."
"Training?" Katherine echoed, surprised.
